Good board with plenty of ports. Controlling software is iffy.
This is my third Gigabyte motherboard and have been generally satisfied with them. I didn’t need a high end board for this build (a 12700f) but I wanted a board that had a lot of USB ports and this board fits the bill. It was easy to build with. I like the quick latch on the M.2 and GPU, makes it easier to remove the big GPU and access to the SSD. I don’t really like the current version of their Control Center. It works okay but the older version had better UI and shows more system information. I did have to go into the Advance mode in the bios to properly set the XMP profile. Performance and temps have been fine so far.

Solid board, Easy Install M.2, Fast Wi-Fi
2 months in still works just fine for my server rig. – Very nice install for m.2 ssd, everything is fine included with motherboard to install, and good heat sinks for NVME as well. – Wi-Fi on board is actually really nice, would actually recommend using it. – BIOS is simple and easy to use——- – Have an i5-13500 and 32gb of ram installed, as well as a 2TB m.2 NVME SSD. Easy to install all components into, and stock 13th gen Intel Fan was EXTREMELY easy to install. Just push it into the mobo for install, no issues at all.

CPU socket pins broken and bent
Two pins in the CPU socket came broken and some were bent, I requested a refund already but the UPS in my country (Panama) doesn’t work with QR code and said that the item must be shipped to the US first and that will be an additional fee of $100 minimum.I’ve tried taking it to different technicians to see if they can save the mobo while also looking for an affordable courier to take it back to the US every single day.So far I’ve only found one technician that might help me but said that it requires soldering and even that might not save the motherboard, and that it might void my warranty.I’m nearing the end of my return period and still have no way of returning this trash. Why must I pay $100 minimum to return a defective product, this thing cost me 179.99, I’m required to pay more than 50% of the product just to return it to receive my refund, which translates to me wasting an average of $100 in nothing because I’m not getting a replacement or refund until the product is sent back, which I’m definitely not doing with such insane prices to return a defective junk.

    Easy to put together
I found it super easy to put together my PC using this motherboard. The board looks very high quality. The build quality feels solid. Really appreciated the built-in head sink for the SSD. It came with everything that I needed including the wifi antenna. Even for an amateur like me, it was easy and simple to put everything together, and the computer booted up properly on the first attempt!

When i first built my computer with this motherboard, i was turning a couple but then it never showed any signs of power on the board. Unfortunately I had to return the motherboard and buy a new one from ASUS. If you’re pro gamer or a serious dedicated gamer, i recommend investing in a MSI or ASUS motherboards. Overall solid but did not work out for me. 15/07/2024.
