Good Product
This phone was an excellent choice for me , real good quality, many well thought out features , easy to program, ya I like everything about it, I was looking for an upgrade for my old Panasonic and this was just what I was looking for.
Amazon Customer –
Sound Quality is what I was looking for.
Overall very happy with the phone. Sound quality is good from all 3 head sets, which is the main problem I was looking to solve but sounds better if volume setting is set 1 below max level. Last set I bought from different manufacturer had 3 out of 5 headsets with good sound quality brand new. I like the look and how the Gigaset phone fits in my hand. You have to go through a screen to get to volume control which is why I put 3 stars. Guess I am just used to pushing a button on the handset up and down to control the volume, which other manufacturers have. Yes, you have to download the instructions for any real detail about the phone, but it is simple by both typing in the web address or using your cell phone camera of the data matrix to go directly to the website. Made in Germany is a plus in my opinion. 5 star rating because it is exactly what I expected for a phone set in this price range and the sound quality if better than my past phone sets.Update: The phones are slow to respond when pushing buttons, when pushing speaker phone. Didn’t think this would bother me but after only a week or so with the phones this does get annoying. With everything digital and immediate with the push of a button, this seems like very old technology with its lag time. Phone still works fine, sound quality good, but the delay with the buttons can get to you.

No English instructions. Confusing buttons. Not set-up to actually answer your calls.
I had high hopes for this phone, the higher price range suggested quality and the assumption that it was made in Germany with higher standards. The ‘German’ origin is meaningless with the same Asian-quality cheap plastic junk. No English instructions, really? I plugged the phones into the wall. It showed about 10 messages in 5 hours, but would not tell me from whom, from where, junk or not junk call. Every other cordless phone I had was plug-in ready upon installation. Also, the volume level of the prompts was far too low, even at high settings. It’s going back to Amazon tomorrow. Just give me a good old Japanese product.

Useable Features
These Gigaset phones are well made, I accidently dropped one and it still works fine. It has good sound quality and easy to set up. I have 2 suggestions to the company. 1) Make a Youtube video or instruction manual that shows you how to setup basic functions. Example: How to use answering machine (retrieve/delete/record). Basic Functions.2) It was disappointing that these phones do not make vocal announcements of incoming calls. Most phones today have that feature.. I just downloaded the manual which has a lot more information, that should be available easier..

Its made in Germany and the Quality is as expected, Outstanding.
I like everything about this landline phone.Pleasant ringerPhone has its own block list you hit when sales or unwanted calls come in.Setup is so simple I did not even have to access the manual.

Handsome but kind of dumb
I bought this to replace a fading Panasonic KX-PRW130W design phone (rest in peace) which had a similar display but did a better job of using it. The fonts on this model are less readable, particularly the one used for the digital clock display (which isn’t legible even a few feet away). This handset’s voice quality is a small step down but the overall build quality is a step up. I do like the solid feel of this phone and it is perfectly serviceable for the few times I use my landline. The answering machine can do some dumb things like allowing spam callers to record completely blank messages (the phone should just toss them). And common operations like deleting messages in bulk can be strangely complicated. I also miss talking caller ID more than I thought I would. I’m satisfied with this phone but if I had to do it all over again I would probably pick up a Panasonic with talking caller ID and just learn to live with the ugly display.

I’m using Gigaset since 20+ years now without any problems.
I had to return it, because I live in the Philippines and here we are using a different frequency. It’s a pity, because I have used Gigaset Phones from Germany since 20+ years now without any problems. The only DECT phones are available here is Panasonic (Philippines). Compared to Gigaset, there sound is horrible!

Great Phone
Tried 3 other phones before buying this one. This one is great. Volume, ease of use, sound quality, and looks great. I know there was some bad reviews but I decided to give it a try. love, love love it. I’m 75 and had no problem figuring it out. No clear cut directions but it’s really easy.
Outpost –
I think that a lot of brain storming went into the design and function of this phone. It is very intuitive and easy to use. It has useful functions I haven’t seen on any other phone I have used.I would recommend this phone.

Buen producto, aunque un poco caro.

The product is not as advertised. Since we bought this item, itâs doesnât work properly – where the outbound call is barred. I tried everything I could find online, including calling the service provider and still of no use, the problem still exists. Tried even reaching out to Gigaset through their website and could find a solution or a number / email to reach out to get this sorted. I wish I could return the item but then Househelp threw away the box or would have done that to at least get my money back.
