Supercool with flaws
OK, so youâve been eyeballing this headset for a while now and youâre wondering if you should spend the big bucks on it and asking yourself if itâs worth it? I say it all depends on your situation. If you already have a nice TV and this would just be a novelty kind of thing for you then no stick with your nice TV. Now if youâre the type, who is just wondering what it would be like to have a personal theater right in front of you then there is one thing you NEED to know. That is that the actual headset that carries the screens is not held to your face by anything, meaning that it basically floats in front of you and this is a big deal because in order to get that big picture theater feeling the glasses need to be pressed up against your face. Since the glasses need to be pressed up against your face, you either have to manually put pressure or go without seeing a full picture.I bought this headset because I wanted to be able to lay in bed at night and not bother my girlfriend. Which is actually really, really neat except again for the fact that in order to get the full theater experience, the headset needs to be pressed against your face fully for immersion. In my opinion, this alone makes this headset just not worth it, since what is the point of spending this kind of money if youâre not going to get a full blown insulated immersive experience. I will on the other hand say that I have had this headset well past the return date at this point and keep them because again the portability and the screen resolution is actually pretty good especially when connected to a computer, which I have a 4080 graphics card so everything looks . Also the ability to plug it right into a rogue ally or steam deck anywhere, well almost anywhere thatâs safe, is a really really cool feature.The first time you put this headset on, you might think itâs really really cool, but if youâre like me eventually, that awful spacing between your face and the actual headset will become apparent and adjusting this does not really help since your left either being able to see more to the left or more to the right. If you have astigmatism then the little knobs will help clear the picture up, but unfortunately, it will still be left blurry in the affected eye. I can validate that glasses will fit between the headset and your face but again it will push the picture even further out.If youâre looking to buy these, just keep in mind what Iâve said about the one big flaw in all of this. It could just be the shape of my face honestly, and some other people might not have this issue with it, which in that case then I would say this headset is really good, but the price is still way too high for this. Iâd say at the most maybe $600 but then again on the other hand, it is one of the better headsets that Iâve used. If youâre looking at getting some of the AR glasses that have those little monitors in them, I have them too, and I would say this definitely is better than that since the experience allows for a bigger picture and more clarity. If youâre an impulse buyer and tend to have buyers remorse, this is probably not the product for you honestly but if you have money and are going to be OK, then I would say give them a try but then again I would also say wait for a version that doesnât have that god-awful spacing between your face And the headset.Hope this helped!

A Gamer’s Favorite
I purchased this GOOVIS head-monitor from Indiegogo. Half a year passed by, and it has transformed my gaming and movie-watching experience. I pair it with a Xbox for both gaming and watching. The image quality is stunning. The 2.5K resolution delivers sharp and detailed visuals, and the OLED technology provides perfect blacks and vibrant colors. It’s like having a personal high-definition screens right in front of my eyes.Performance-wise, I’m very impressed. I’ve experienced no lag or delay, which is crucial for fast-paced gaming. The visuals are smooth and responsive.Comfort is another plus. The headset is lightweight and adjustable, making it easy to find a comfortable fit. I’ve worn it for hours at a time without any discomfort. For extended periods I mount it on an adjustable arm and enjoy it while lying in bed.

It needs a USB-A to USB-C cable for powering the headset. The cable was not included in the box.

Only good for watching videos, unable to use as a “2nd Monitor”
If you want to watch movies or play video games on PS5 this is good. It does not disturb others watching TV in same room.Was hoping to use as a 2nd monitor with laptop but have to look at keyboard from time to time. This means raising the visor to see keyboard. I am not a prefect typist, above average but not prefect.

The clearest picture I have ever seen on a headset
I have watched a couple of movies on the new Goovis G3 max and it is like being in a movie theater.Paired with ear phones it is outstanding.The picture is IMAX quality and the sound is tremendous.You can just sit back and relax and look at all of the detail.I watched a movie that I had seen before and it was like seeing it new all over again.All of the detail that I missed the first time just jumped out at me.I donât know how they will ever top the Goovis G3 max, but I am sure that they will find a way.Thank you for producing such a great productDavid

A Must Have for TV Addicts
I bought the G3 to replace my G2. I am a huge GOOVIS fan and a TV addict since childhood. I use it every night in bed so I don’t disturb my wife. It is a very private way to watch your favorite content. I use my D4 4K Portable Stream Media Player, Amazon Fire Stick, iPhone 15 Pro, MacBook Air and Pro all seamlessly and pair with my favorite bluetooth ear buds/phones.On the go I take my D4 and can watch anywhere. Great for treadmill or stationary bike. Time goes by faster while exercising.I have a 77 inch OLED TV but many times I favor the GOOVIS G3 because I can see so much more detail as if I am looking at an IMAX from the front row. The customer service has been excellent I get any info I need very quickly.I am not a gamer or VR fan so my recommendation is for those of us who have the need to watch all the TV and movies we can as often as possible without bothering anyone else. The 3D images are stunning and the other content is so well defined that it also seems 3D at times. THANKS GOOVIS !!!
