Great SIP cordless phones if you know what you’re doing
I’ve been using these for a little over a year with a PBX that I host myself online and they work perfectly. The sound is crystal clear and very loud if needed, the handset batteries are just rechargeable AAAs that you can easily switch out for your preferred brand, and you can set them up in somewhat sophisticated ways with 10 accounts that can ring up to 5 handsets in a number of configurations.I use one for the house “landline” that can call 911 if needed, and then one for my home office (also properly set up for 911). I use it a little simply, so that the home and office handsets ring when the home number is called, and just the office rings when someone calls my business number. I have them set up to ring in queues and it works beautifully. My wife and kids use the home phone all the time and I haven’t had any complaints in a year, so that’s a big deal. I’m really happy with them and would absolutely recommend these, especially if you’re experienced with setting up and managing VOIP systems.

Finally! Cordless phones that work, and are native SIP (VOIP)
Good coverage, SIP, PoE and DECT repeater support. I finally have a solution that works. We live in a very large home. It takes 5 Ubiquiti (Unifi) WIFI hot spots to cover the house. it takes one base and one repeater to cover our property and a little more with great audio. Use the G711 ( alaw or ulaw) CODECs when you program these. Accept no substitute! If you use g.729, you’ll get g.729 (ROTTEN) quality. These things work really well. So happy tp have found them Supports 5 cordless handsets and 5 SIP accounts. The PoE power means that you can easily hang the base station and repeaters where they need to be.

Not what I expected
I was looking for the best quality VOIP phone to use for my home. I currently have only an internet phone that I want to replace. This was rated high, but was not aware that it wasn’t the simple plug and play hookup. I tried for two days to get information in how to hook up. The directions that come with the phone are uselsess, two short pages of how to take out of the box and plug in, but nothing on setting up, which involves IP addresses with pages of required input for setup, SIP addresses and accounts with monthly costs. Online help was text only. Videos and websites not helpful for someone like me that knew nothing about all the setup requirements for these kind of phones. My mistake for choosing. Probably a great phone for offices and for the right users.Would have been helpful if the advertisements would have been clearer on what it took to set this up. Not for the limited tech knowledge I have.Unfortunately it didn’t work for me and I had to send it back. Writing this just to make people aware in case you think it’s just a simple plug in setup like any cordless phone.

Short range, you cant walk away two rooms with the hand set.If you don’t use it for few days, you will need to register the hand set again before use.

Annoying, Poor audio quality. – Its too bad, I think most issues could be resolved through firmware.
The audio quality is poor on these things. I don’t know if they compress it to handle the number of active headsets or if its something else. Also, you cannot hear yourself when you talk into it, so it feels like your talking on a dead phone. Very odd and hard to get used to when all the other phones operate normally. Also, the Missed Calls screen is quite annoying and will stay there until you acknowledge it. There is no way to disable it, and it covers up most of the lcd screen, so you cannot see the time. I ended up turning off the LCD screen, because i got tired of looking at missed calls screen. I would leave it on if i could see the time. Not being able to disable missed calls on a SIP phone is dumb. We have an office, and multiple extensions ring, so, its not really a missed call.. Another extension picked it up, so its a USELESS nag.

Three Stars
Not that easy to link with Vonage, had to use Tec support.

Let me start with this: you read the manual and the default password mentioned there does not work so you need to google for an answer. How gross is it? Combine it with completely unintuitive locations of different options like that you change some settings under the status tab or handle date and time under maintenance. Having said that, if by your persistence you manage to find all necessary handlers it seems the equipment is great and incredibly flexible.
