Wow! I’m impressed.
My old PC suffered a surge (despite being on an UPS with protection), and blew the mobo. I really had no need to spend a lot in upgrades, so just opted to get another LGA1150 board that could use my existing CPU and RAM. The options are more limited than ever, and most familiar brands want way more for these old things than they’re worth.I wasn’t familiar with the Shangzhaoyuan brand, but the specs looked good enough for what I needed. It seated nicely into the new case I purchased, but after some adjustment of the supports. There is NO manual for this board in the box, so be sure to download the PDF copy supplied in the link on this page. It’s at the bottom of the description. Also THERE IS NO MOUNT FOR THE CPU FAN on the board. Just holes, so I was delayed for a day as I waited for the mount to arrive.Out of the box, the board fired up perfectly. Didn’t have to do a thing to the BIOS. Ran a couple of benchmarks, and all is good. Seems to work solidly, and even a bit better than the previous HP board I was running.Definitely impressed!

Works but no product support or website
(UPDATE 11-08-2024: Suddenly, I can no longer reach the post screen. Up until yesterday, my machine was running fine, now the power starts but nothing happens. I stripped everything down to troubleshoot, nothing works. I put CPU and memory into a different motherboard and it’s fine.Motherboard is dead. There is no product support on here as stated in the description. Also the box says 3 year warranty, but there is no contact information or website. Scam!)I bought this to replace a damaged Asus z97 pro. This board works, but there is absolutely no tech support available or website available. I can’t enable XMP Profile 1 enabled in BIOS even though it shows it’s supported. My g.skill pc3-19200 memory wasn’t compatible, So I had to buy new sticks, pc3-12800 which worked but slower. Alot lower than specs say. Probably because XMP isn’t working on this board. Also, no idea if firmware or bios needs updating since there is no website to find this product. Again, it works, and for the price, it is what it is.

The price was right, but it doesn’t recognize my working GPU, and customer service is virtually non-existent. For basic computing it’s great, but anything else, not worth the risk.

6 year old PC rejuvenated
This LGA1150 socket H97 Shangzhadyuan motherboard was purchased to replace an ancient malfunctioning H97 Gigabyte board. The rest of the (dated) components in my PC, including the older i5 processor and 32 gb DDR3 memory were fine – I could not justify buiding a new PC.This board so far is working very nicely and the build was basically painless. This 6 year old PC was basically rejuvenated.Observations:- remove the cmos battery to reset the bios, and consider replacing the 2032 battery which may be old.- the board and its box arrive with zero information.- the BIOS are American Megatrends, dated 2022. I did not look for any updates.- to enter bios, press the delete key above the arrow keys, not the delete key on the far right.- press F7 for boot options.- good idea to clean all the fans and inside of the case.- recommend to replace the thermal paste under the cooling fan.- Be sure to have the windows product key of the existing PC (if potentially needed) before you begin!- windows 10 had to be re-activated – click troubleshoot if not immediately successful, then hardware change.- this board has an NVME m2 socket for SSD – the old one did not.- all component connections, front USB 3 and 2 work correctly.- also runs Linux (checked with LinuxLiteOS).

Dual Lan with dual 32bit pci slots
Very pleased to be able to find a modern board which supports older pci cards. The two RJ45 ports are very useful for applying different firewall and port forwarding rules for LAN and WAN networks.The AMI bios is 2022 and my only criticism is that there is no option to update it, not within the bios menu itself anyway. The manual, like most others is pretty basic but ok but a separate bios manual would be useful as there are many options. Perhaps there is one available from American Megatrends.

Great 4th gen Motherboard
Transferred components ( i5 CPU etc.) from a older industrial Mini-ITX board to get modern features like UEFI, M.2 support when the older board couldn’t be flashed to support a Linux upgrade. Was surprised by the perceived increase in performance from M.2 and USB 3.0. Added a fibre channel card and with it’s four SATA ports and couple of spare hard drives this little board is also sharing storage in addition to it’s normal duties without breaking a sweat. This is a great inexpensive upgrade for an older board that is working but no longer supported without going nuts buying CPU, Memory, etc. again to go to a later gen CPU.

CPU socket pins bent / Replacement motherboard does not work
Mfr needs to step up their QA game. As soon as I unboxed this and inspected it, I noticed that there are bent pins on the CPU socket. I took a gamble and did an exchange. Replacement product arrives tomorrow. Seller may get some stars back depending on what I get. Buyers beware! Do a thorough inspection of items like this as soon as you unpackage them. God know what this would have done to my new CPU had I stuck it in, not noticing this.UPDATE: I received the replacement the next day. Thank you Amazon. There is no ethernet detected on the motherboard. There is no documentation. There is no splash screen telling you what to press to get into BIOS. I was not able to get into BIOS at all, and half the time, pressing buttons on the keyboard during boot just froze everything with a blank screen. This motherboard is absolute garbage. I now have two data points on that.

J’ai monté dessus un i7 4790 sans aucun problème de détection. Les performances sont conformes aux attentes qu’on pourrait en avoir. Par contre il n’y a pas de manuel, il faudra aller fureter sur Internet. Et quand bien même, celui-ci est en anglais et assez succinct. Vous découvrirez aussi par vous même que la pile CMOS du BIOS n’est par fournie avec, qu’il faudra en acheter une et surtout qu’il faut la brancher sur une toute petite pine blanche au format MOLEX 51021 au dessus du slot PCIe. Notez bien cette info qui vous fera gagner des heures de recherche ! Enfin je n’ai pas trouvé de réglage possible pour manager la vitesse du ventilo du châssis. De visu l’ensemble parait bien fini, comme les grandes marques. A partir de là j’espère que la carte mère durera dans le temps.

Lorsque ma carte mère MSI a rendu l’âme au bout de 10 ans, j’ai voulu la remplacer par une MSI de même socket pour conserver mon Pentium et mes RAM DDR3, mais qui n’existent plus qu’en reconditionné, et après deux commandes de cartes qui ne fonctionnaient pas (pas d’affichage avec le GPU interne). Le deuxième vendeur m’a remboursée et le premier vendeur m’a envoyé une nouvelle carte qui a marché deux jours avant de lâcher comme les deux premières !Donc, au bout de deux mois de panne, à cause des délais de port depuis la Chine, je me suis résolue à abandonner MSI et à opter pour une carte neuve. J’avais des doutes sur la fiabilité de cette SHANGZHAOYUAN, mais comme c’est la seule qu’on trouve en neuf sur le marché avec ce socket pour Pentium, j’ai franchi le pas : aussitôt reçue, installée en 1/4 d’heure dans le PC, tout a fonctionné instantanément sans besoin d’accéder au BIOS et ma Debian 11 (Linux) s’est chargée dans l’état où elle était restée il y a 2 mois et tout fonctionne parfaitement depuis sans même que j’aie eu à mettre le nez dans le bios depuis. C’est mon expérience, je ne donne aucun conseil.
