Get me back to the old time
I had a lot of good memories for the games I played when I was a child. This game box brings a lot of them back. There are hundreds of them in it. I was super engaged after receiving it. The setup was super easy. Just need to connect the box with a TV. Nothing else is needed. The controllers are pretty stylish. While it’s not ergonomic for the best performance, it’s closer to how I play video games on my phone. So I am comfortable with it.

Easy to install and keep stashed away!
I have a few of these little retro game things and they come in several varieties of quality. This particular one is a good 7 out of 10 and actually has some good Nintendo/Famicom games. The menu is the same as the little super cheap game boy look alikes with a real number of about 100 good games. The rest are repeats and weird homebrew stuff. The only reason I took a star was because super mario bros runs too fast. The controllers are solid and feel just like oem NES controllers without the cord. The wireless works good up to about 15′ and the turbo is great for scrolling shooters. I have mine hooked into the tv’s AV, with power coming from the media USB that I never use. So as long as the TV is on, the device turns on and is ready to be switched over to AV. Recommended for anyone who likes old NES games without fooling about with emulators.

Fun, but no digital connection
I wish this connected to the TV with an hdmi cable rather than standard RCA connectors. I had to connect it to a small bedroom TV that accepts RCA cables… my living room projector doesn’t have the connection option, which was a bit disappointing. I handed the control to my 4 year old granddaughter, and she has been able to navigate and choose games without much trouble. Game play has been a little frustrating for her so far, but this is her first video game. Her daddy sits and plays it with her, and she is entertained and engaged when playing. I didn’t recognize any of the games, but they were never my thing growing up. My boy loves the old games, and he’s been putting quality time in with his daughter as they play together. That alone made it worth getting. I’d recommend, but make sure your TV has RCA inputs before you order.
