I bought this chair because the old hunk of trash I was using (got it from Nissan dealership I worked at, boss was throwing it out a week after he got it. Guess I know why now. But I digress.) made my back hurt constantly. This is not only comfortable but itâs stirdy. Wheels work just fine. I read a ton of reviews and almost spend another 150$ on a chair that Iâm almost positive is the same exact thing that I got. Donât be fooled. Itâs totally worth the money. The adjustable back cushion is great for lower lumbar support. The top pillow is nice if your leaned WAAAY back (doesnât do much otherwise). The recline works great. Lever system is built well and the chairs heaight adjustment is nice and tall for us big guys. I mean it has only been a week but so far itâs a great comfortable chair. The directions are very easy and are very understandable. Not sure what people meant by them being vague. It came very very quickly. All the peices were neatly packed nuts and bolts came in a bubble pack. Yea. Hella good chair. Hella good price. Quit being so dam critical people. Almost chased me outa a badass chair. Itâs like rotten tomatoe movie reviews in here. People think the coolest stuff sucks. Not cool. ð¤

Excellent lumbar support (S-1)
Good fit and finish on the chair components, assembly was a quick and simple- it’ll take you maybe 1 hour max if you are taking your time and really torquing those bolts down (which by the way come with blue loctite on the threads so this chair really isn’t meant to come apart again).
Quality of the final product is great, it came with no shipping damage and the packaging was neat and quick to remove. The chair is a bit stiff initially but I got comfortable and “broke it in” over the course of a few days. I thought the lumbar support would be a total gimmick along with the silly neck pillow- but to my surprise they are both extremely comfortable, supportive, and very useful- I will be leaving them on. I am sure there are much better chairs out there (my office chair costs upwards of $1100 apparently) but for the price of this chair and how close it gets me to those bespoke 4 figure chairs I am more than happy from an ergonomics & comfort standpoint.
Only negatives I can come up with are that the chair doesn’t seem to have a lot of adjustability in regards to the armrests, nor the seat height. If you are a tall person this might be an uncomfortable chair for you as the seat doesn’t rise very much at all, same with if you have a very tall desk.

REVIEW OF THE BLACK-S1 Carbon Fiber
Bought this chair to replace a worn out chair at my office while staying on a budget. Overall, is a good chair for the price.
PROS:
– Good build quality for the price
– Assembly is just as easy as other similar but more expensive chairs
– Should be comfortable to sit in for extended periods with a decent neck pillow
– Reclines way back (but I don’t think it’s balanced properly to lay back in completely flat)
CONS:
– The lumbar pillow is too big in my opinion (and I’m a skinny guy), it pushes you way too far forward in the seat and I would never use it had I kept the chair
– The most noteworthy compromise in this chair is in the base of the seat. First off, if you are a wide set person, this chair will likely be far too narrow and it felt narrow even to both me and my wife (both tall and thin people). Finally, the most glaring issue with is was the side pad areas of the base of the seat. The angled side pads that make up the edges of the base of the seat are not really part of the seat at all, but purely cosmetic. They appear to be angled extensions of the seat base but are actually just empty airspace with PU leather wrapped around a foam padded bar on each side. Feels VERY strange on the sides of your thighs when the sides of the chair don’t give normal resistance to your legs if you’re used to a full and supportive bucket seat style. This is the only reason it’s not a 5-star chair for me.
It appears that the Black-s5 does not have this seat base issue, and it sells for a reasonably higher price, this is likely the model to be choosing!
So if you’re like me and are coming from your personal gaming/office chair in the $400+ price range, you will definitely notice immediately how they are able to sell this chair in the $100 range. While it is perfectly functional, it is not up to par with the $400-600 chairs on the market, but I don’t think it’s trying to be.
I think if they improved the seat base and sold this chair for $150-175, it would be an outstanding value product.
For the current price, it is a good value and a perfectly functional chair and likely a very major upgrade for someone using an uncomfortable office chair that hurts their back while gaming or whatever.
In the end, my colleagues rejected the chair simply because they didn’t like the high back design vs the medium back height chairs they were used to.
The seller was very accommodating with quick customer service to help solve the unfortunate issue of having an unpacked & assembled, but unwanted chair. Very high regards to the seller!

Geat Budget Buy! Average quality I was expecting something cheaper. But honestly feels equal quality to what you get at Staples.
Ok so if you are looking for something inexpensive but decently built. I think this fits the profile pretty well. I do want to start off you are dealing with an average quality chair. This is not a Secretlab. It is very similar to an average quality chair you may find at staples. I am 6’6″ tall and yes I could use a slightly taller backed chair however this is very comfortable once I made a few adjustments to the pillows. I would say this fits and average man at 6′ very well. The seat back construction is solid. The tilt rocking function only works when reclined, minor annoyance considering there is a locking mechanism for even when it is reclined. The arms will come loose over time. Ive had the chair about a month and needed to tighten the screws down again this week. Overall for the money its a great chair. I plan on getting the perfect chair for me in the future but Im still unsure of what I will get. This fills the void in the meantime. Assembly is simple and fast don’t believe all the other reviews.
