Great tablet
Waterproof, drop proof, came with a rugged case with a handle… Case was already installed just needed to attach the handle which was way because the tablet came with every tool needed to do it.Battery lasts forever! Which I LOVE. I can read for an hour and only go down 1%.Only critical thing I’d have for this tablet is the weight. It’s very very heavy but it has a handle so that helps take away some of the onus.

Great tablet at a good price
This “HOTWAV R7 Rugged Tablet” turned out to be a pretty good deal. It’s well-built, seems super rugged, and comes with an okay hand-strap and a screen protector. (No one makes a case for this yet but it doesn’t really need one.)It’s built like a tank, has a massive battery, and great connectivity. Android 13 has a lot of useful features that I’m still getting used to but overall I like it.The only real downside is the resolution- the screen is 800×1200, which is fine for my use (watching videos and reading the news). Some may want/need a higher resolution but this is suitable if not outstanding.

Way better than Samsung and iPad when it comes to price and quality. Only thing missing is a biometric finger log in but everything is great specially for gaming and doing work on it. Easy set up too.

The tablet works great. The power adapter for charging not so much. I contacted the seller they were supposed to send a new power block and for my trouble a screen protector. I have yet to receive either. I could use that charger.Love my R7 it is tough enough for my crane training site. Take your time be patient cell companies will add them slowly. New mobile devices take time to be added to networks. We do monthly practical exams using tablets. Itâs rugged very easy to use and the battery life is awesome. The water resistance is great especially while raining while working. It is not light and flimsy. Two things I wish it had lanyard clips or holes for a clip on harness. And a foldable adjustable stand to prop it up. That doesnât limit the tablet. It is great. The cellular service works great. The battery life far surpasses my IPAD 12.9. Well worth the 209. I paid the intro price. Which set it apart. Because of this I am consider buying the rugged cell. One other thing because it is new the cell companies have not all added support for the SIM be patient. A couple of days of waiting the network picked it right up. BE PATIENT. They have to add them to their network. Everything is not right away. Especially since it is a new product.

I purchased the HOTWAV R7 Tablet for my autistic teenager after multiple iPads with “sturdy” cases failed to endure. I bought the tablet during a trip to the US and brought it back to Turkey.This tablet exceeded my expectationsâit lasted months without any additional protective cover.Unfortunately, after a bad fall, the screen separated from the body. While the screen and body were intact, the connecting ribbon wire broke. Repair shops in Ankara couldnât replace the ribbon, and with no warranty in Turkey, I thought the tablet was beyond saving.However, I contacted HOTWAV through their website, not expecting much. To my surprise, they responded promptly, asked for details and photos, and are now sending a replacement ribbon free of charge!This level of dedication to their product and customers is truly impressive. Highly recommend HOTWAV for their durability and outstanding service!

Normalmente soy fan del iPad pera está tablet es muy buena rápida y de buen tamaño no se compara al iPad pero para ser Android y de una marca que no se conoce en México .es la mejor que he Tenido.estoy muy satisfecho.un comentario a mi no me molesta pero la tablet tiene un peso superior al de cualquier otra tablet no soy experto pero sin embargo vale mucho la pena por la estabilidad del sistema y su rapidez asà como la duración de su baterÃa .

What a great tablet. I’ve carried a rugged phone by another brand for a little over a year. And when I discovered that companies made these rugged tablets I had to check this one out it had great reviews and price point on it it’s good. Compared to my old tablet which wasn’t what I considered a low Brand this one is much faster and works a lot smoother. No issues with it. I do notice if you take pictures with the camera in less than ideal lighting the pictures aren’t the best but other than that it’s great. Sound of the speakers is great. Watching videos very crisp no lag playing games no lag. Battery life is amazing. And because it’s me this is already hit the floor a couple of times and being a rugged tablet that’s what it’s made for. I’ve never had a tablet with a hand strap option. I didn’t think I would use it or like it and I’ll have a hard time using a tablet without one now I think. I’m hoping this company is rugged phones become available more widely in Canada soon I would consider getting one based on this tablet.Edit: Had this for quite awhile now. Still love the tablet. DESPISE!!! where the power button is located. Most tablets I’ve had the power button on the long side of the device. This one has the power and sound buttons on the short side “bottom” of the tablet. This thing is heavy enough that laying down the weight of the tablet is just enough to press the power button it it’s against something solid like a tablet stand or belt buckle. Not the end of the world but annoying.

Impresionante la duración de la baterÃa, aguanta dÃas y dÃas usándola varias horas seguidas.En general es muy completa y bastante fluida para uso cotidiano e incluso algunos juegos ligeros.La pantalla se ve bastante bien y es rapidita abriendo aplicaciones o navegando y viendo videos.Es ruguerizada y en teorÃa aguanta caÃdas desde metro y medio de altura e incluso 30 minutos bajo el agua a metro y medio de profundidad. En verano la meteremos en la playa y veremos si hace fotos de los peces bajo las olas o me sirve de anclaâ.Tiene la opción de poner un asa de piel atornillada a la parte trasera que le da mucha estabilidad para ambientes de trabajo por ejemplo o si vas en barco.Las cámaras cumplen, la de atrás bastante mejor que la delantera y el flash es bueno hasta 4 o 5 metros, un poco mejor que el de los móviles.Se puede usar como teléfono, poniendo tarjeta nano sim o incluso 2 o una sim y una tarjeta de memoria hasta 2Tb.Todos los puertos van bien tapados y ajustados con su goma.

Hace tiempo que existen los teléfonos rugerizados y ahora empiezan a llegar las tablets rugerizadas, como esta Hotwav. Conozco la marca porque mis hijos ya han tenido dos teléfonos y han salido buenos.De momento llevo con la tablet casi un mes y me va de maravilla.Tiene una baterÃa casi inagotable y una protección bastante buena. Sobre todo para los que tenemos niños por casa que acaban cogiendo todo lo que pillan, es una garantÃa contra las caÃdas.En cuanto a potencia, no se le pueden pedir peras al olmo, pero para la mayorÃa de cosas cotidianas va más que sobrada. Otra cosa es si queremos probar juegos pesados, donde va a sufrir un poco más.El peso también es superior a una tablet convencional, pero eso viene de la mano del grado de protección y la baterÃa que lleva integrada.Una tablet bastante recomendada si queremos que nos dure y dure como las pilas duracell.
