Disappointing screen, no Internet jack
I bought this HP for the Windows 11 Pro, 32Gb RAM and the 1Tb drive… The Keyboard is nice. What I missed is there is no RJ45 jack to plug in an Ethernet cable for an Internet connection! luckily I have a USB to RJ45 adapter, but it is not the best solution. Not a good notebook for business or home. Also, the screen resolution is very poor. 10 or 15 year old resolution at best. I bought this to replace a 5 year old mid class Asus that has a few problems I am working on, and the Asus is miles above this HP in screen resolution. I would not recommend this HO for the jack and especially the screen resolution disappointment.

Laptop appears to be OK.
Be aware these Laptops appear to be running Windows 11 Pro S, so they are locked down. You will be unable to install any software except from MS Store until you turn of S mode. Once you get this done they seem to work fine. Just wish the Amazon Ad reflected the version of Windows.

Iâm retired and need a good pc for my Etsy shops. This pc is great. Terrible tinny sounding speakers, though. Definitely need a Bluetooth speaker of quality to listen to music.

Worthless laptop and now is costing me another $650 because they double-billed
Possibly the worst laptop I’ve ever purchased. Chose the “pay monthly” option – and they billed me upfront anyway…. disputed that so they credited the 11 months. Then I tried to get this POS to work for 2 weeks and it never did, so I returned it. They refunded the first month payment. All was well.Then a month later I got rebilled again for the $650 – AFTER I had returned the crappy laptop. This has been going on for months trying to dispute this with Amazon and Chase. What a nightmare. Purchase at your own risk as you’ll probably be scammed out of hundreds of dollars and be holding on to a laptop that is worse than worthless because of the additional stress it causes and the money you’ll be scammed out of.

Limited USB-C Functionality
The listing does not make it really clear that this particular laptop does not support charging, or monitor support through the USB-C port. I found this out the hard way after setting it up, and connecting it to the USB-C dock. Only to then find a post buried in the HP support forum.It works great. But if you are intending to use this with a dock, be aware that the dock will only pass usb devices and ethernet.
