Unbelievable build quality for this pricepoint
My dad bought a computer at the same time at Best Buy, and for the same price the best he could get was half the RAM and half the GB. I also shopped around and couldn’t find a remotely comparable deal.I’ve only had the computer for a couple of months but I noticed I can run Adobe Creative Cloud, Illustrator and InDesign at the same time, and surf the Internet with no delays. If I try to throw a vc video chat in the mix too, I might have to close a few programs.The laptop doesn’t overheat even when I’m using while charging. I am really impressed I got such a great laptop for this price.I bought it preparing for unemployment, expecting I would have to buy another when I got a job, but this is so much more functional and durable than my old Macbook Air, for a fraction of the cost of a Pro, and I am completely satisfied with my purchase.

Keyboard stopped working after 2nd use
I’ve used the laptop two times. The keyboard stopped working and HP customer support disconnected from me via the chat after their first suggestions didn’t work. I have updated all drivers from the HP site and still have a keyboard error. I also noticed that the warranty started in May and I purchased the laptop in oct/nov time-frame. Luckily I work with IT people and will ask them to diagnosis it before I contact customer support again. I’m fairly savy with computers, but can’t get the keyboard to work in windows. I have spent hours uploading and diagnosing the laptop obviously with no success. If the IT people are able to resolve the problem & have an easy remedy, I will post the solution.

A few “key” issues here. But a great purchase!
The keys stick after heavy use. Being the author of books I am dependant upon the functionality of the keyboard. These particular keys could easily get food particles underneath them and cause them to stick, or for whatever reason, a couple of them have been vulnerable to my 20+ years of typing experience.The performance is fantastic. The big screen is a huge upgrade from my 13.8inch laptop which I wrote nearly all of my previous books on. Data transfer was easy, and setup was an absolute breeze. I use and hold regularly almost 30+tabs for research and writing on a daily basis, and this laptop handles it much better than my previous. The weight itself is actually fairly good. Being a bigger laptop, I expected it to be considerably heavier. However i was surprised to find that it is within my acceptable weight limits.5/5 Overall I’m quite happy with this purchase. nobody had a better deal anywhere price for specifications, Costco or other local stores, even searching Amazon for other business laptops that could even compare to these specifications were in the $1200 range.

I think the laptop is great. Works well and is fast.BUT, the laptop was already activated and came with a shortened warranty period instead of the full year. I wonder what happened.

Bastante bien. Arrepentido de no comprar la versión que traeia 4TB de espacio en disco, y parace que ya esta descontinuado.Como negativo, el teclado no tiene luz (backlit)

Yo pienso que la computadora probablemente fue mal empacada, no por el vendedor inicial, ya que venia en su empaque original bien protegida, sino que en el transporte pusieron la caja con la computadora en una caja demasiada grande, sin ponerle empaque para evitar que se estuviera azotando la caja de la computadora dentro de la caja grande, y probablemente eso haya provocado que se descompusiera el ventilador, aunque no puedo asegurar que esa haya sido la causa.
