Perfect for kids homeschool
I got this strictly for my kiddos to do their math & piano programs. Itâs perfect!!! I donât intend for using it beyond super basic things like this, so it was perfect for the price.

Nifty and efficient chromebook
I have purchased seven laptop/chrombooks last three years. The PCs have not fared good. One died and another is on its last leg, as the screen became detached from the keyboard. The only one that remains on the PC scale is an 11.6 HP I bought after this one which is super slow and has a poor camera. The Apple is ok but needs a battery. Then I have four chromebooks of different sizes from 11.6 to 15.6. This fits in the middle at 14 inches. The design is slick and very flat. It looks like a mac. It feels lighter than the others which are described as heavier. I think because of the design. It has a white keyboard which is the best thing next to a lit keyboard. I purposely looked for a white keyboard. The computer works fine dependent on what you want to do. I like to do light programming, store and edit pictures, writing, internet, music, movies, and games. It is not a powerhouse but it can do alot more than the HP PC I also got (11.6) for about the same price. This works so much better. It works better than the other chromebooks. The camera is better than the HP PC. But the best thing is the amazing battery life. You will get 12 hours easy. The battery does not drain when closed. Other chromebooks have died after a couple of days of just being closed. Not this one. It uses the same plug for my android. This gives you charging options virtually everywhere.Overall a good purchase. Best Chromebook I got and better than the 11.6 HP PC. The apple beats it of course, but the battery on this one makes up for any glaring deficiences.

Great Starting Laptop
This laptop has been an absolute lifesaver for me as a college student. Itâs built like a tankâsurviving countless drops and rough handlingâand has been incredibly reliable throughout my academic journey. Itâs handled everything Iâve thrown at it, from intensive coursework to occasional entertainment, with no issues. The antivirus protection has been top-notch, keeping my system safe and secure. I couldnât have asked for a better, more affordable laptop to help me earn my degree. 10/10 would recommend as a perfect start-up laptop for any student

I love the size
i love the size of this. The keyboard feels better to type on and the screen is beautiful. The mouse is a sensitive touch which can be good or bad (lol), but over all good for school work and entertainment.

Good little laptop for the price
I’m a Mac guy for the most part. My main computer is an iMac, but I’ve always had a Windows laptop for use when travelling etc (too cheap to buy a Macbook….). My Windows laptop died at a time when I really needed one and I saw this and thought what the heck, I’ll give it a try.I’m very pleased. For online use, it’s absolutely fine. The screen resolution isn’t up to my Mac, but my Windows laptop wasn’t either. I don’t really like that I’m logged on to Google (and being tracked) whenever I use it, but I don’t do anything online that I’d be ashamed of so I guess that’s OK.It was a little bit tricky to get online for the first time, but that’s pretty well documented out on the web, and it was easy to get beyond the issue. Not really anything to worry about. The battery life is very good. Haven’t used the camera, so I don’t know about that. But it’s lightweight and portable and runs plenty fast. I think it’s a very good value.

I expected more but got what I payed for.
I’ve gotten laptops that were around this price but way more functional than this. I feel like I have an android tablet with keyboards. There needs to be a lot of updates to make this laptop usable. The first thing the stood out to me is the space, I understand that you can put an SD card but why? Shouldn’t every functional laptop come with enough space? I’ve seen phones with more space than this chromebook.Secondly, like I said before it feels like a tablet with a keyboard because you can only download “apps” from the Google play store. Why apps? This just seems so cheesy to me because it gives me mobile phone vibes. It turns me off from wanting to use it.Thirdly, you can’t download game files directly from the web for steam, origin etc. You have to allow use of this third-party Linux (beta) files, do some coding crap, and transfer to files over to Linux. And when you do this, you’re only left with about 5GB – 7GB of space on the entire chromebook, which makes no sense because now your steam has no purpose because you’re unable to download the games due to low storage space.Lastly, you have to use the mobile versions of Microsoft Word, excel, PowerPoint etc. You know the things just about every laptop brand should allow you to get.Long story short, if you are getting this for you kids, cool. They can download apps, play games and watch YouTube. However, if you are an adult and you’re using this for more purposes other than research for college. It’s pretty useless. I honestly want to return it but I got whatbI payed for. I will honestly not recommend this to anyone else. My review may be harsh but I don’t want anyone to experience the disappointment I’ve felt while purchasing my very first laptop.
