Update, if you play genesis games be sure to change the switch in the back of the console if you don’t then you will get the error I got in the picture above. So after I realized that I really enjoyed the console and it played all my games that I love. Another update I’ve been playing this console for a few days and today it started clicking when I put in the snes 2nd controller I dont understand why but it plays.I was really excited when I received this cause y old systems is having a hard time playing some of the games. I got this console and hooked it up to the tv and it playes the new games and snes games BUT DID NOT PLAY THE SEGA GENESIS GAME. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED. I had high hopes and then lost all of that when it wouldn’t play. I also made sure that I had the knob on Genesis too make sure it plays and the screen said it could only be played on a sega Genesis console only. So I gave this product a 3 star because the console looks to be made well and the controllers are good and feel good in my hand. I just hate it wouldn’t play my Genesis game. I will also give credit to the company for adding a power block to lug into the wall for power cause normally when I buy an item I don’t receive one. I’m thinking about sending it back since it wouldn’t play the game and also the controller for sega was messed up and wouldn’t plug into the system my husband got to plug in but he had to force it in so it would plug n to play 2 players. I really like this as feel bad for leaving a bad review when it could have been a 5 star.

Theirs allot of things I like and hate about this thing.Let’s get the 3 major things out of the way first.The controllers are like sticking your hand into a bowl of jello. The are not replacements for factory controllers. I even have 3rd party 30 year old controllers that work better(Interact Superpad)I wish I could contact hyperkin because I believe someone put returned controllers into my box.Now… The composite video is horrible, it’s nothing like your older systems. The pixels are just way too jagged. It’s hard to explain really.Color and sound seems to be up to par though. It’s nice to see an SOC playing special chip games.Maybe my bad review will get someone’s attention to contact me.—–edited—–from 2 star to 3The more I use the console the more I like it but I still have issues with the controllers. For a device released after HD TV’s became the norm, the graphics quality are thoroughly terrible. To play this on anything that is not a crt you need to spend extra on a rgb to hdmi convertor, and even with that the graphics look washed out.Also, my console came with one of the cartridge slots not working properly. The NES slot is stuck open.Considering returning this and buying something else off Ali express for half the price, as it has been a complete disappointment.
