Awesome CPU, but you might need an AIO
Upgraded from an i3 12100F primarily to edit video and I’m very happy with the performance. Davinci Resolve was simply too much for the i3. With the i7, my render times dropped from an hour to 10 minutes and editing on the timeline is leaps and bounds smoother.Now the bad…When I swapped out the CPU, I kept my Cooler Master Hyper 212 120mm air cooler paired with the i7. For gaming, it was no problem. Temps averaged around 60c, which I could live with. When it came to rendering video however, temps would skyrocket to 100c and throttle. I ended up purchasing a Cooler Master Master Liquid 360L Core AIO and temps now average around 80c, sometimes peaking at 90c.Bottom line is that if you’re going to be using this for CPU intensive tasks definitely pair this with an AIO.

Incredible CPU performance
Using it for 3D rendering in corona and vray ans gaming. It is fantastic and never overheats. Easy installation. Great for professional usage and for gaming. Using it with z790 motherboard and 128GB of ram. Power consumption is much lower than with previous gens.

Intel is killing the competition. If you want an insanely fast PC, make this the heart of it. Or if youâre really feeling it go for an i9. I would recommend staying within the 13th generation as thereâs not much about the 14th gen that makes it worth it. Out of the box this CPU will comfortably run at 5.4ghz, it performs amazing under load and in my system stays perfectly cool.This year-old CPU, blows away brand new CPUâs from the likes of Apple and AMD, I truly cannot recommend the 13th gen lineup enough, this being the centerpiece of it all.If you do get an LGA 1700 CPU, go ahead and get the bracket upgrade for your MOBO, itâll save you time down the long run and helps to keep temps in check.

This CPU in my opinion will last me at most another 10 years, I haven’t experienced any issues so far as others have faced, but I do not do crazy CPU extensive tasks. This is great for gaming and casual pc use for another 10 years. No need to go 14th gen at all in 2024

Llegó antes de lo establecÃdo, excelente desempeño pero se calienta demasiado, considera un buen cooler y case, diseña bien como colocar los ventiladores para un adecuado flujo de aire, además de que es obviamente Ara. Una gama media alta o alta, si agregas mÃnimo una gpu de gama 40, ram ddr5 y unas buenos SSD puedes bajar considerablemente el infierno que son estos pequeños, además de estar en posibilidad de overclockear sin riesgos. Para builds pensadas son un buen producto, si no tendrás problemas por sobrecalentamiento.
