Awesome.
I’ve got many pairs of headphones and am testing several at the moment. These are great at what they do, have excellent frequency response and the app helps you fine tune them to be perfect for your ears. From listeners on the other side, they have the best microphone for voice compared to more expensive earbuds and headphones I’ve tested. Great product.
Great headset! I use it quite often when gaming and schooling –
Battery life is 48 hr
I love this. I use this while gaming, schooling, or just chilling. It’s not excatly the light weight headset but it is worth it for the other features

Amazing sound
Switching from a Hyper X headset ( did have amazing sound ) to this JBL my first thoughts where that it was a bit heavy and clunky but after about 30min of gaming I didn’t even notice the difference and the options on this headset are perfect ( 5 stare) PS.. Hold the Mute button for 5sec to turn off the light show

SO FAR THE BEST SELLER
I would have given five stars but I give the JBL QUANTUM 800 Headset four stars because there is still some room for improvement. Let me start by saying that in my humble opinion, the JBL Quantum 800 is by far the best headset I have ever made an investment on. One of the coolest features is Active Noise Cancellation (ANC for short). Noises from the outside are practically drowned out by 95% and whatever audio and music Iâm listening to, are virtually crisp, rich and clear.Another feature is, the 7.1 surround sound capabilities. Let me tell you what Iâm talking about. I can have the headset blasting while watching streaming movies on my 65â flat screen and I have to remove my headset to see if the TV is too loud but itâs not because with headset on, you would think that the sound is coming from the TV speaker/soundbar. That is how awesome the sound is.As for the RGB lighting, it looks pretty but it is not really necessary to have on unless youâre entertaining guests personally or via webcam.Last but not least the obvious feature is that the JBL Q800 is wireless which means cables are not in the way where one might trip on, it gets snagged on something or even break which will cause one to kiss $200.00 goodbye. Now for what I think should be done to improve the JBL Q800 despite of the awesome sound quality.I happened to own another JBL headset which is the model TUNE660NC that has a neat feature which is the button that is used to answer and hang up your android smartphone as a handsfree feature, The same button works to pause and play music and video. That feature should be added for the Q800. The only thing that works is the answer and hang up on a smartphone.Another thing that should be done is that ANC button if pressed and held long enough, The TALK THROUGH (TT) feature is enabled. There should be a separate button for the TT feature.Last but not least. When it comes to charging the headset, I have found the headset is useless while charging. I had another brand of headsets by RAZER and it had some good features but I was still able to use the headset while they were charging. That is just what I think and hope to see improved in the next upcoming JBL models.

Best budget buy
I have been looking for headphones that offer two key functions: active noise cancellation as well as talk-through (may be listed as listen around or other similar terms). I know it seems counter intuitive that I want a headset that actively cancels out background noises while still allowing me to hear if someone is trying to talk directly to me.I read a review that they do not work in teams though but Iâve had no issues at all.

Not comparable with Xbox unless you plug in, anc deactivated.
Very comfortable, grate sound, anc makes it feel like you have nothing on ur head.Only complaint is that none of that works when plugged in to the 3.5mm jack. Itâs basically a 14$ headset from Walmart when plugged in.

Uncomfortable. ANC needs improvement. Could do without the orange accents
Downloaded the software, did all the updates, and got them working easily. Built in surround sound is awful. I disabled it and used dolby atmos headphones for windows instead. The sound quality is pretty good for being a gaming headset, mic is decent. These sound slightly better than my Arctis 7 headset. More bass definitely. The noise cancelling is better than nothing, but not the best. If my Sony XM3s are a 10/10, these are like a 5/10. There’s also some distortion when ANC is enabled and you do significant head movements, but while gaming and using the PC it’s not really noticeable. I could really do without the orange accents on the headset. Clashes with my aesthetic. These would’ve been a keeper, had they been comfortable. The earpads aren’t thick enough and my ears end up getting pressed up against the hard surface of the driver. I tried many adjustments, but it just hurts wearing these. It got to the point where my ears physically ached even when I wasn’t wearing them. There aren’t different sized aftermarket earpads for these too, so there’s no solution other than to return them. For comparison I can wear my Sony XM3s for hours and hours at a time with zero discomfort. It’s really unfortunate because ANC is a great feature for headphones and while not the best here, it’s better than nothing and there’s no other wireless gaming headset on the market with ANC.
