Works great, easy setup
The quality of this grip is quite good. I can easily take photos with just one hand and I no longer accidentally cover the lens with my fingers. It allows em to hold my iPhone steady and the shutter button reduces or eliminates camera shake. Now my iPhone actually feels like a camera. As for Bluetooth connectivity issues if I long press to take burst photos the button will turn off – I can only take single snapshots. Turning on the button will connect again. This is the only flaw, it would have been perfect if had a separate on/off switch to allow taking burst photos. it’s not a big issue, I can still use the volume up button for this.

Make your phone into a mini street photo camera
So I bought this product to try and turn my phone into a camera that I always have. When pairing this device to Bluetooth it is very easy to do. The removable trigger is great, and I love that the grip can also become a phone stand. The magnetic for mag safe are strong and when I pair this with a good iPhone camera app, it is very fun to use as a street photo camera style type of thing.I like this item just for the sheer practicality of what it can do and that it is small, sleeks, light and serves the purpose I originally set out buying this item for in the first place.

Better Grip, Okay Stand
Gives you a better grip while taking pictures. Works on iphones with magsafe compatibility/magsafe case as well as Android phones with magsafe casesButton only controls the minus volume button on your phone to take pictures. If you have a iphone 16 series the button does not control the built in camera control button on the phone. You can take pictures, just not go through the camera options by swiping and lightly pressingBluetooth connection works wellSeeing itâs a wireless device it needs to be charged. No replaceable batteryYou can pull out the button if you donât have a selfie stick and trust someone doesnât swipe your phone while taking picture of yourself while your phone stands on the table, bench, rock, etc.Good grip, way better than holding your flat phone. Still a bit small, if you have large adult sized hands you may be doing some finger curling. Might not be good if you taking conisistant shots as you may get finger fatigue. Maybe the size is more for Asian markets or teens with smaller hands? Using it as a stand is okay. Thereâs only one viewing angle. You can do multiple angles at first, but after several uses the hinge becomes loose and only stays in one positionTransitioning from horizontal and vertical orientation is not easy or smooth. The magnet is very strong, you need you take your phone off the device and change orientation, or use extra force to twist it which may scratch your phone or phone case.

Frequent Lag
Used on a recent 7-day RV trip and a couple of issues. The magnetic mount doesnât feel that secure. Perhaps over time I would get more confidence but during this trip I was constantly worried my iPhone would slip off the grip. While that in itself isnât bad, the deal buster was the noticeable lag from when I pressed the button to when the camera would snap the photo. We were photographing along the shore and wanted to capture some stills and video of the waves breaking. I say we captured about 40% of the photos we wanted and it was all because of the lag. Perhaps if you are photographing a still or something youâre not timing for a particular shot (a wave breaking over a rock as an example) this might work but otherwise it was a failure for us.

As a pro, I never knew I needed this until I saw it!
Iâve been looking for something like this for a while. What I mean is that Iâm tired of cages or bulky phone cases that gives me a grip and shutter button. I love my cinema camera but for the day trips or trips where compactness and simplicity is important I found this by accident. I love how simple and strong the magnet is. Iâve had it on my moment case for my iPhone 14 Pro Max and itâs put up with being in my pocket, attached to my car dash and near to have. I donât have it on 100% of the time but itâs a nice accessory to have in my bag to work, daily commute, or trips. Just get it. Itâs 20$ 🙂

This is a cool accessory
I like this product for the comfort, functionality and ease of use. It works great with my iPhone 16 Pro Max and makes taking pictures a lot easier with one hand. It doubles as a stand and I love the removable remote shutter button for taking group pictures that I can participate in or selfies and videos at a distance without the obvious effect of holding the phone. A great product for the money.

Its all great EXCEPT can not pair with remote.
I really wanted to love this. Its comy to hold, has a nice wrist strap, sticks well to the phone case and works well as a stand. The problem is that its next to impossible to pair the phone to the remote. After 50 or so tries of charging it up, then following the instructions, the remote only connected to my phone 3 times. It also quickly unpaired as soon as I did anything with my phone besides taking pictures. I really loved it all except that so I will order another in hopes that the second time. i get a working remote.

Works great
This product looks great. Well made and works as advertised. I like how it feels in my hand. It’s like holding a professional camera. I also like the way the stand works.

It’s easy to install and it helps to shoot steadily. However, the Bluetooth syncing with my iPhone 14 Pro Max is so difficult…have to try 5-6 time to sync..

Strong magnet. Easy bluetooth pairing. Remote control can be used long distance. Grip helps to steady taking selfies. Weigh is heavy enough to safely used it as a stand. Keep my hands free, so I can multi task. I can Facetime, while I cook dinner at the same time. This is a great product. I love it!!

I can’t comment on bluetooth connection for other phones but it works flawlessly with the S23 and it remembers the bluetooth connection so no need to re-pair. Solid magnets and around 3-4mm wider on both ends than the S23 without a case. The button does not activate the camera. You need to activate the camera for it to be used as a shutter. When the camera is NOT activated, the button cycles between silent, vibrate and sound.Even if the Snapgrip is better in term of materials, ergonomics and with the ability to add a light… honestly the JJC at 1/3 of the price is a steal. Also the fact that the shutter can be separated from the holder is a bonus for tripod use when taking selfies or group photos. Something the Snapgrip can’t do.Last thing I’ll mention is that due to the small form factor of the S23, when using the phone vertically, the JJC will partially cover the 3X lens. Not a big deal imo as the 3X lens is rarely used. I am using a Pitaka case with integrated magsafe if anyone is wondering.

For a fraction of the cost of Fjorden, this has the same low-profile, easy and fast on and off a magsafe case but is easier to hold than the Fjorden, which I found WAY too small for my fingers. The bluetooth shutter is temperamental getting connected at times, which is not ideal for super-spontaneous shooting, but if you can spare the 10 seconds to get hooked up, it then works as it should. The shutter button is not raised, so it can be hard to know if your finger is on it or not. Unlike Fjorden it does not give you a zoom control toggle (which is only operable on the Fjorden if you have child-sized fingers, so no big loss)Excellent build-quality. Excellent value
