Great sound and comfort
Ok earbuds really hurt me. So I have been looking for open ear buds. I really wanted Bose but they are too expensive. I bought the SoundCore and returned them because they hurt the ear and sound quality wasn’t good at all. I happened to find these on Amazon after scrolling forever. I dont understand why these arent advertised more. First of all they are insanely comfortable. I have had them on for 3 hours and they do not bother me at all. The sound immediately impressed me. Very very clear. Light weight. They connected to my phone immediately so very easy to use. They appear well made ans durable. I am in awe of how great this product is so far. I am very happy!!!

These are quite good and comfortable.
The audio quality is excellent. The fit takes a bit of practice to get right, but they are comfortable to wear and don’t easily fall out. Bass is decent, the best I’ve found yet for the open ear style, which will always limit bass.

I rarely write reviews, have been looking for clear and comfortable ear cuffs for a long time. JVC nearphones Open Ear-Cuffs are perfect in every way. Fit great, sound quality is excellent – thumbs up JVC!!

Had High Hopes
When I saw these, I ordered a pair right away. The design and fit are the best I’ve experienced thus far. I had previously tested the Huawei freeclips and freebuds, both Soundcore C30i and C40i, Tozo OpenEarRing, Monster Wireless and QCY C30. I was on my way to making this JVC open ears my sole pair of earbuds, but then was surprisingly disappointed with the application and sound quality. No custom EQ and bound by the default factory sound. The sound is very low, even with it set to max on my mobile device. I have a Samsung Z Fold 6. Even trying a volume boost application, it doesn’t do it justice. I really hope that JVC will take this back to the drawing board on the sound. This would definitely be the ideal open earbud if the sound is improved and has noise cancellation.

When you first put these on, you’re greeted by a pleasant female voice telling you the device is on, ready for pairing, or connected to “Device 1” or “Device 2.” Additionally, the internal voice will notify you when the battery gets low and needs charging.ComfortThe HA-NP1T is exceptionally comfortable to wear, and you’ll often forget you have it on. I never experienced slippage or the earbuds falling out during use and It’s very light weight. This earns a 5 out of 5 for comfort.DesignThe HA-NP1T is a ring style earbud that is well built. It features hard shell plastic ends with a silver or gold trim for the ring loop depending on your color choice. As I mentioned earlier, this is the best looking model on the market, so I’m giving it a 5 out of 5 for design.FeaturesThe HA-NP1T supports multipoint connections, allowing you to connect to two devices simultaneously and switch between them instantly. It supports SBC and AAC codecs, uses Bluetooth 5.3, and has an IPX4 water resistance rating. Additionally, it includes a low latency mode, which is great for gaming.ButtonsI love the clickable buttons. No accidental presses here. You’ll find two buttons on the back side of the earbuds that work great and are fully customizable in the app.Battery LifeThe earbuds provide 8 hours of continuous playback, with two additional charges from the case (16 hours), for a total of 24 hours. This is more than enough for daily use.AppThe JVC Headphones app allows you to update the firmware when available and provides two independent volume profiles for music and phone calls. The sound settings offer three presets: Normal, High, and Bass. Additionally, the control settings give you full customization of the earbud buttons, which is a big plus.However, I wish the app included a manual EQ instead of the presets, as this limits its potential. I’ll give the app a 4 out of 5, mainly because the lack of a manual EQ is holding it back.Sound & Call QualityThe sound quality is the most important aspect, and the HA-NP1T delivers a bright sound signature. The highs are very detailed and resolve minute nuances that other earbuds might miss. Hi-hats, cymbals, and background layers of music all come through clearly. You might even discover new elements in songs you’ve listened to for years.That said, the bass is where the design struggles. Since these are open ear earbuds, the bass is inherently lower compared to sealed earbuds. Even compared to other open ear models, the bass is weaker. If JVC added a manual EQ, it would allow users to fine tune the sound and enhance the bass to their preference. I’ll give the sound quality a 3.5 out of 5. The highs are fantastic, but the lack of bass leaves an unbalanced foundation.The call quality is good. I had no issues making calls in both quiet and noisy environments. Interestingly, during calls, I noticed the volume would automatically adjust when transitioning between noisy and quiet surroundings. I’m not sure if this is an added feature, but it was helpful.ConnectionThe connection was good, but during music playback I encountered hiccups with the connection periodically. Perhaps a future firmware update can fix this.ConclusionThe JVC HA-NP1T is a solid contender in the open ear earbud market. Its standout design, comfort, and detailed sound signature make it a great choice for those who prioritize highs and clarity. The multipoint connectivity, customizable buttons, and thoughtful app features add to its appeal.However, the bass performance and the lack of a manual EQ hold it back from being truly exceptional big time.
