Nostalgia in a sound card!
I ordered this item for my Kato Sound Box to use with a little pocket line steam loco on my n-scale set. It fits the bill perfectly! I love that you can adjust (sync) the chuffing sounds with the mechanism of the train, and then when the little half-pint is working its way around the track, the chuffing sounds automatically speed up and slow down when it’s descending or climbing hills. There are three whistles to choose from, and I selected the one that honestly sounds like it’s the epitome of high, lonesome coming from a distance! My wife got a kick out of my perpetual silly grin when this thing was first plugged in and the little loco came to life. My grandkids love it too. It’s the first thing they want to do when they get to our house…
