No issues with Macbook Pro early 2011
Upgraded Macbook pro early 2011 after I noticed a substantial deterioration in performance over the years. I ordered Crucial MX200 and a Kingston 16GB ram together. The package arrived sooner than the estimated delivery date which was absolutely fine with me. I followed a video tutorial from OWC on youtube and installation of both items was a breeze. No fitting issues. I’m so glad I went ahead with the upgrades! My laptop’s performance has dramatically improved with faster startup/shutdown times, and blazing fast loading of resource hogging applications such as photoshop. I’m using a third party application which showed the memory allocation was nearly 7GB with the applications that I was using. The RAM upgrade seems to give enough room for the laptop to push itself to fire other apps. There have been no errors on the memory through this week of moderate usage. Overall extremely happy with the upgrades.

    Excellent RAM — Kingston ROCKS!!
I’ve been using Kingston DIMMs for many years, and they keep getting better. I normally used them on PCs, but I specced this one to configure with my Mac and it works without any problems whatsoever – I basically quadrupled my RAM with two 8 GB DIMMS, exceeding Apple’s GB limit by twice what they tested for the my model Mac. It’s like I got a brand new Mac! Super FAST!!

excellent and cheap RAM for iMac
this is a way cheap way to increase the operating capability of your computer. added 16gb to the 4 that came included with our 2012 27″ iMac. much cheaper than buying memory from Apple and installation is definitey ok for the uninitiated. would suggest checking out youtube to see some tutorials on how to add memory

Working perfectly (now) in a 2011 Mac Mini running OS 10.9
Rock solid for a month now, with this installed in the “bank 1” (outer) RAM slot, and one of the factory-installed 2GB DIMMs in bank 0.No problems, and all 10GB show up in the system, with the DIMMs in this arrangement.I mention the arrangement because early on, I had also tried putting them in the opposite slots to see if that made a difference in performance. The Ethernet and Wi-Fi did not work, at all, until I switched them back. Not sure why.Update: Having no problems running a matched pair of these for 16GB total.

This memory module did not work correctly in my iMac. I don’t know if there was a defect or it just wasn’t compatible, but I sent it back.

Quality product, Big increase in iMac speed, Highly recommended!
Having bought my iMac 27″ Mid 2011 with 16GB of memory which was all that was available at that time, I did some research and was happy to find out that it could be upgraded to 32GB. I do video editing and have 4 virtual machines that I use from time to time and 16GB was starting to get slightly bogged down with editing and a virtual machines running at the same time. After reading several reviews and making a few inquiries, I bought (4) these Kingston modules. The installation was easy and the iMac booted with the full 32GB with no issues. The OS is running much faster with the virtual machines and video editing now. Running OSX, Parallels with Windows 7 and various photo and video editing software, I have around 16-18GB free! That works for me. 🙂

Alles in allem guter Kauf. Kann ich empfehlen.

Seller contacted me and informed he is sending kingston original KVR1333D3S9/8G HF model for Imac instead of the KTA-MB1333Model. Received and working perfectly on my mid2011 pentium 15 27″ iMac.
