Large and rugged with an old operating system
These phones are running 5.1.1(Lollipop) but work well for our towing business where a rugged phone and a large display helps. When dropped from a 30 foot overpass, they break. When run over with 20,000 lbs of truck tires, they break. But it’s less than $100 bucks to replace them, so they are ideal for field communication, that doesn’t need the last five Android operating system upgrades. We also use AT&T’s enhanced push to talk with them.

Obsolete. Not recommended. Dumb phone–not smart
This is my third Kyocera phone. They hold up well. This model, however, hasn’t had a software update since 2016. As a result, half of apps aren’t even available for download; because they are incompatible with the old operating system. This model has very little internal memory. An SD card is a necessity. This phone is a good choice as a cheap, durable way to make calls and surf the web. But if you rely on any extra apps, there’s a good chance you won’t have access to them.

Most Apps won’t work on it
Normal apps that are used do not work on this phone. Amazon app isn’t supported. It’s like using a phone from 2008. The phone is a great size and seem to be high quality. Software needs major upgrades.

Love this sturdy work phone
This is a great smart phone for people who do physical work – keeps from getting damaged from bumps, drops, etc. Very sturdy and the battery life lasts forever. This is my second one. The first one lasted 4 years.

Great design specs, but didn’t connect to AT&T network.
I’m uncertain if I got a defective item, or if the model is no longer supported. The AT&T rep thought this model was listed among their supported devices, but it’s possible that it’s not compatible with the 2022 5G upgrade that also changed their 4G band frequencies. I can tell that the unit I received had a Chrome browser history from a month before I got it. This tells me that this is at least the second time this phone has been returned, and there was no indication in that I would be getting anything other than a new phone. Its a loud, large screen, durable phone- but a team of experienced individuals was unable to get it to connect with AT&T network.

Tough phone
Put this thing through abuse for the last year. The durability is great. I’ve yet to scratch the screen bad enough to show up when backlit. And I have abused it. Daily drops from my pocket, sitting on it, dropped wrenches on it, etc. It rides in a pocket full of keys sand and wrenches, nearly 24/7.This is a better phone than the regular duraforce I used the year previous. Battery life has come down some, but it’s still good enough to last the day.Couldn’t be happier.

Scam
This product not only was in way worse description than described, it doesn’t work. I have to drive to UPS and pay to return this item. I shared the photo of what it says when powered on. This shop is a scam and Amazon should pay for the return that was supposed to be free.

Es un equipo con una pantalla grande, cumple las expectativas de resistencia, y por el precio obtiene uno un buen producto. Eso sÃ, la versión de Android instalada va a pedales o de plano no funciona con apps complejas.
