    Love it
My son loves this game, it’s easy for him to use ! It’s had alot of games honestly so it’s fair priced and I don’t think the price is bad! It has a lot of educational and motor skill games and games for all age ranges. The screen is perfect size with the ability to rotate which I think is nice

    Plug for headphones!
We got this for our long plane ride, and was presently surprised by the fact that it has a headphone jack! Thank the lord! The games are cute, and to true leapfrog style, very educational. My 4 yr old had a slight issue figuring out how to use it, but my 5 yr old is obsessed.

Intuitive enough for a 5-year old with basic English skills.
Before I gifted this to my son, I set up the unit to test for myself. I was initially concerned it would not hold his attention for very long, but am pleased to report that he is very satisfied.I have tried my best to keep my son away from smart phones, video games, and digital tablets as I wanted him to build the necessary basic motor skills before introducing him to something like this device. You can’t keep them completely away from them this generation, unfortunately.Of course, his first gut instinct was to tap the screen, immediately when the first series of prompts came up. As he used the Leapster, he began asking questions about the words and terminologies used in each of the games, prompting conversation between parent and child… not to mention a lot of laughter. These interactions are all invaluable for a parent. As for the software, the games are all intuitive enough for young children to quickly grasp. My son was able to follow the instructions without my guidance and navigate through the games all on his own. The only issue with this is introducing your child to a potentially addictive source of entertainment, which I have quickly decided to set rules around (30-minutes a day, only after homework is finished). As for the unit, the unique controls were intuitive enough for him to pick up quickly. It also has a bright, colorful, and rotatable LCD screen, which is also impressive. I believe this product is a good kick-start to engage children with digital products.Overall, I am pleased with the product and would recommend it to others with children.

    Good but not Rechargeable
This is a great educational alternative to other handheld devices. Perfect for a 4-5 year old. I will say we find ourselves changing the batteries fairly often. Wished it was rechargeable.

    Great for littles
Love leap frog products and this one is great for little kids who are starting to get interested in video games. Different levels for different skill sets and safe for small kids. The battery life is decent.

This was an expensive item that stopped working after the return policy was closef
I cannot recommend this leapfrog product. I assumed buying a name brand product would be of benefit and have a warranty period. Turns out there is NO warranty and Amazon will not stand by their products being so!d. I called Amazon and received ZERO support.
