Not quite perfect for the Ally Z1E
This is a huge upgrade over the case I first got for my Ally Z1E. The material inside and out is much better. The outer material is similar to the official Steam Deck case as an example and similarly robust. There’s also plenty of room for my charger which is something my other case was lacking.What I don’t like: the inner flap does not cover the entire screen, I wish it was just an inch wider. There is also too much space in the case for my Z1E, about a half inch; it slides left and right just a bit, so it’s not as snug as I’d like.Despite the flaws, I like this case quite a bit and it’ll be my primary Ally case at this point.

Nice case for the original Rog Ally
I don’t have the Rog Ally X, so not sure how that would fit, but this fits my original Rog Ally. There is plenty of room for the power adapter in the zipper pocket along with cables and anything else small that would be needed to play the Ally. Only negative is that the soft internal cover does not fully cover the screen, but that is accurately shown in an image on the product page. I really don’t think this is an issue with protecting my Ally, but worth noting. I really like this case and glad I have it.

Decent hard case but smells of mold
I got my case in last night and it works just fine as a case. Its like an over sized Switch case but the Ally fits snug in it. I do have some concerns about the lack of material covering the analog sticks where they will touch whatever is in the mesh zipper part.The biggest complaint is that mine came in smelling of mold. It even got my Ally and charger to smell of whatever it is thats got the moldy smell.

Solid basic case. Well made, good quality zip that moves smoothly and fits the rog ally fine. Would also work with any other consoles that would fit. Does the job fine, though a bit pricy for a case of this style in my opinion.

This is a fantastic carry case for the ROG Ally! It’s very well constructed and the zips do up very smoothly whilst also being nicely fixed, they feel durable and should protect against constant opening and closing.The case is hard shell and there’s a mesh pouch in the top lid to put your wires whilst also having a bit of fabric to put over the screen. The Ally fits very snug inside.I will say, I also have a Steam Deck but it will not fit inside (it’s just a tiny bit too big) but it does not make this claim, I’m just stating this so you don’t waste your time trying it.All in all it’s a very nice and well constructed case. I think the £21.99 price is fair and I’m chuffed with it!
