The first Chromebook they sent was defective. As quick as you’d like they replaced it. Took the original to the Market and dropped it off and the new one came in a few days.It works perfectly. Yeah. It’s from 2016, but it does all I need it for. Battery seems to last, though I’ve never used it so long I had to stop to charge. It isn’t scratched up or abused, but it’s not new either. It just works well.On thing. The screen is small, and the edges take up space leaving less real estate for the content. It’s better than a phone or small tablet, but a laptop it ain’t. I love that the screen is touch, so I can type on keyboard and just use finger to go back or scroll or correct. My old tablet with keyboard couldn’t do that.Great value. I’ll let you know about charging times and battery life over longer term use.M

Just put in for my 3rd order
I have 2 already and just order a 3rd. My second Chromebook did not come with the stylus/pen and the seller quickly shipped me the stylus/pen. This is a great Chromebook for all our basic needs. I use mine on flights to get some work done. I really like the tent/tablet mode for watching videos. Some of my favorite apps are also available on this Chromebook. The seller is very good to work with and I just ordered one more for my daughter. The quality is what you would expect for a used educational edition Chromebook. Some buyers expect that theirs will be flawless. So far on all of mine the screen has been scratch free. Once I get them I clean them really well and even put a coat of armor all on the housing to shine it back up. Both of the Chromebooks I have received have been in excellent condition and fully functional. These things have 4gb of ram and a roughly 2.5ghz quad core processor, so apps run very smooth. Video quality is great, but I’m not sure what resolution the screen is. I recommend the 500e to anyone looking for a cheap Chromebook suitable for browsing, watching videos, and playing the occasional games.

SUPER UNHAPPY!!!
I have ordered 3 of these. The first one I ordered looked in very good condition, and worked well but stopped working after about a month, and due to a problem with my Amazon account I can no longer access it to make a return (have to use husband’s account now). I then ordered 2 more, and when they came I realized that my 1st order hadn’t even been the correct item! Only 1 of the 3 was actually a 2nd gen!!! These last 2 came in pretty bad physical condition. I bought it renewed in excellent condition, which should be close to new looking. Faaaaaar from it! I’m keeping the one that is actually the correct product, because (so far) it’s working correctly. I’m putting a case over it, so the scratches all over won’t be a big deal. What IS a big deal is the other one that came. Not only was it not a 2nd generation, as ordered, and it was extremely worn and scratched all over (even the keys had heavy wear) but it is even CRACKED on one corner, and the glass screen is popping out on that corner, too! This company is doing a terrible job, and I’m returning the worst of the last 2 as soon as I can. I’m hesitant to ask for a replacement because who knows what I’ll receive this time. My expectations aren’t as high as most. All I wanted was for them to be the correct item, not look like they’ve been thrown on concrete over and over, and work properly. Sadly, they can’t even live up to this, despite selling these claiming they’ve been renewed to excellent.

Great Product! Deceptive Product Page!!
First the good: I received my Chromebook in excellent condition! Considering its age, it looked like new and has great performance. Not one scratch or blemish on it. 2 in 1 touch screen works perfectly. No issues with hinges when placing it in tablet mode. All keys worked. Not mentioned on product page is that it had 4 ports (2 USB C style and 2 older style) and a micro SD slot. All of which work fine. Now the bad and my only complaint: The product page list this Chromebook as being released on 6/16/2022. I purchased this Chromebook based on this information. When I first turned it on, I checked through OS settings and saw that the Auto Update Expiration date is 6/2027. Only 3 years from now. Upon further investigation, I found out that this device was released in 6/2018. IMO, This is very DECEPTIVE!! I purchased this item based on the listed release date on the product page. If I had known it was 2018, I would have purchased a newer, i.e., 2020, renewed Chromebook I saw out there. Lesson learned for me. I would have given this product 5 stars, it really is in excellent condition, but due to the deception, I am knocking it down to 3, and debating whether to keep it or return it. I also wasnât pleased that a few hours after ordering the Chromebook, all of a sudden it was around $10 cheaper than what I paid for it. Then the next day it was back to around what I paid for it.If you are OK with a Chromebook that will receive OS updates for only 3 more years, then by all means purchase this one. New Chromebooks with 2 in 1 screens are not cheap. The one I received really is in great condition. Maybe Iâll just buy a used one every 3 years.

Not in excellent condition
I have returned this computer 2 times and will be returning it a third time. They are listed on Amazon as âexcellent conditionâ but come looking very used and dirty. The charging cord had hair in the Velcro strap. Iâve had computers for years that donât look this beat up and have 3 kids. I didnât bother turning this computer on since it looks so worn. If I wasnât purchasing something thatâs labeled excellent condition then I might expect this. Itâs going back in the box and to UPS for a return/exchange. The last one I bought looked less used but the mouse pad didnât work properly. I tired to trouble shoot it but it didnât work. Iâll try one more time to get a working nice computer.

Llevo 6 meses con ella compré para mà mamá, pues ella no requiere mucho más allá de ver videos y contestar mensajes. Le encantó, al menos por ahora va todo bien. El único detalle es que tenÃa un pequeño golpe en la tapa, casi no se nota asà que está bien. Es ideal para personas que no demanden muchas aplicaciones. 10/10

Lo que me gusta es:El sistema operativo es fácil de operar, al momento de poner mi cuenta de Google, se configuro con la región de México, e inmediato la pude utilizar.Me gustó mucho el Stylus un plus para tus dibujos y operar de una manera mejor el modo tablet.Lo que no me gustó es:La piezas de la máquina ya no las puedes conseguir ya que es un del año 2018.Los botones de encendido, subir y bajar volumen son muy frágiles y tienden a sumirse y ya no funcionan correctamenteEl display se raya muy fácilmente con el Stylus o hasta con las mismas uñas.La recomiendo si, pero deben de fijar en qué año se fabricó la máquina para saber si se consiguen las piezas de la misma
