34 in ultrawide 800r curve 240hz
This monitor is beast and I stole it for 750$. If this was full price though at 1300$ there’s better options but this is def a premium monitor. Reminder this is OLED technology so text clarity is not a strong suit due to the technology so that in no way shape or form knocks off any stars from this 5 star product. It’s excellent for gaming! Super responsive, high refresh rate, solid build quality. It does have a matte coating but it’s really not even remotely close to as bad as people say. Picture quality is still bright, vibrant and crystal clear. One thing to note is normal ultrawides are normally 1800r curve and at this curve being slight makes it wide and immersive. Now this one with 800r curve bends it so aggressively that it honestly takes away from the immersion as the sides of the monitor are brought closer together to make the harder curve but this is not bad at all. You can see the whole monitor better with peripherals making it easier to use for fps games. I was torn between this and immersion but then I decided to return this just cause I came to the conclusion I rather have immersion from 1800r curve so I then picked up the g85sb from Samsung but his LG is so dope and it looks so good! When or if I become a little more competitive I might get this again. Somehow to me I think this 800r curve makes it easier to aim on mouse and keyboard. I feel like seeing the whole monitor easier and the curve fits the eyes natural curve. Might be placebo but it works for me. If your on the fence I’d buy it. Return it if you want to try something else but keep in mind the refund process is 30 days so if your offered payments from Amazon this process would be more appealing as you are not putting the full price down.

Love This Monitor
I was using an old 1920×1080 HD TV for my monitor and this Ultragear curved monitor is a literal game changer! I do graphic and web design primarily for my business but also enjoy gaming. The curve takes a little getting used to while working on my business projects but while gaming it sucks you in and makes you feel like you’re in the game, especially in a dark room. The quick response time and high refresh rate make gaming smooth like butter – my video card only does 144hz with display port but 240hz would be amazing. Space sim games like Elite Dangerous look SO GOOD, and I recently started Hogwarts Legacy and the incredibly detailed environments look absolutely gorgeous. In shooters like DOOM or Star Wars Battlefront I would say the increased field of view does give you a little bit of an advantage. The lower than 4K pixel density may be a drawback for some but coming from HD this is a huge leap forward for me. My only complaint is the RGB lighting on the back could be brighter and go all the way around the top – mine is only on the sides and bottom. Also I thought the RGB had an option to match the on-screen action but mine only allows cycling or static colors. Not a huge deal but would have been nice. Purchased this at a huge 40% discount for Cyber Monday and was able to do a payment plan so overall I’m very satisfied.

Great monitor!
I got this to replace my 24â monitor Iâve been using for years. The LG is noticeably bigger, noticeably brighter, higher resolution, and the black levels are amazing. I was concerned about burn-in but when necessary, it does automatic pixel cleaning to prevent it.Overall, Iâm VERY happy with my choice and I got it for a great reduced sale price on Amazon.

Painful to have to return this, but the tech isnt ready for my use case
Let me start by saying that this monitor is ALMOST perfect for me. 32 inches, matte coating, OLED, minimalist “non-gamer” design language, high refresh rate and response timings….The two things that killed this monitor FOR ME are that the monitor is not bright enough in well lit rooms, the monitor looks substantially dimmer than other IPS monitors. This needs to be improved on future generations of OLED monitors. The other reason and this was the true killer for me, was that text looks HORRIBLE on this monitor. I am a programmer and I was looking for a monitor that I could use for both productivity and programming. Let me just say that it’s downright painful to look at text on this monitor, text looks smudged, desktop icon text appears all sorts of different colors due to the sub-pixel layout of this display. It’s really, really bad. Theres no possible way I could use this monitor for productivity work. I did try installing software like “mactype” that is supposed to help, I tried adjusting monitor settings, doing a firmware update…. Nothing helped enough. All that being said, this is close to being the perfect monitor for gaming. The blacks are of course dark, the picture is impeccable… It’s just so unfortunate that once you exit the game and go to your desktop you feel like you are using a $100 monitor instead of a $1400 monitor.I can’t bring myself to go lower than 4 stars because the monitor really is so good if all you plan to do on it is game, but for many people that isn’t what computing is all about. I have confidence that these issues can be fixed in future generations of the monitor, and I will be waiting for those models before upgrading to OLED.

Low latency, great colours on a dark room.It is not as bright as other options, but for the price, itâs the best bang for buck you will find.

The panel is excellent and I’ve had no issues with it. I was a little bit concerned switching to OLED from my TN panel, but the difference is night and day. It’s incredibly responsive, looks great, was easy to set up and hopefully will be easier to transport than my prior curved screen. The only real change I had to make was disabling ClearType – weirdly enough, this fixed a strange colour-fringing issue that was present on text out of the box (assume it was due to ClearType being optimized for IPS panel tech, but haven’t looked too far into it). I’ll be adding a second monitor to the setup in the near future, assuming it goes back on sale.I’ve taken a few preventative measures just to reduce the risk of burn-in, such as enabling screensavers and hiding the taskbar, and I’ll be sure to update if there’s anything I notice. For now, two months in without a hitch.
