Yikes runs hot!
The computer itself seems fine but when I went to unplug it, WOW was the plug hot! I would not leave this laptop plugged in unattended. It was frequently mentioned that this little laptop tends to run hot, but I’m really shocked at how hot the plug/adapter got after maybe an hour or so. This is really concerning to me and makes me reluctant to recommend this computer. I’ll update this review if anything changes.

Lightweight, stylish design, good battery life
I needed a new laptop after my older Windows 10 laptop started acting very sluggish and thought the design on this LG was really cool. (I had never bought an LG laptop but have had good experiences with their TVs and kitchen appliances.) A few observations:* This laptop is very light and is perfect to use on the couch or just grab and go to your local coffee shop (that novel / Facebook post wonât write itself!)* The design of the laptop is really beautiful and it really stands out from the sea of generic laptop designs (I might even like the angles/color more than the current generation of Apple laptops)* The display is bright, and colorful and seems to accurately represent the photos and other graphic designs I have been using* While most of the applications I use are Cloud based, it was still able to effortlessly run everything I installed on it – including a few multiplayer games that I installed for testing purposes.* The keyboard is springy, light, and very responsive which makes writing long rants and other typing-intensive activities a joyOverall, if you are in the market for a new laptop I would highly recommend considering this LG Gram as it is feature-packed, very light, and has a beautiful design, all for a very reasonable price.

Nice laptop, but price point is questionable.
Firstly, let me say I’m in IT. Fixing computers and servers and administering them is my forte. So, with that said, let me delve a bit into this laptop. My first question when getting this laptop is is it really worth $1000? The answer is a resounding no. Sure, its small, the screen is great, and it’s fast enough to handle most task you throw at it unless you’re a digital artist or a hardcore gamer, but this laptop doesn’t have a touchscreen, which I’ve forgotten to check before getting it (these days, almost all laptops come with touchscreens, so I didn’t think about it). It doesn’t convert into tent mode, which is expected for laptops without a touchscreen. To be worth $1000, it needs to have at least 16gb RAM and a touchscreen in my opinion. Obviously, the reason for the price point is because this laptop caters to a niche of those who want one of the lightest laptop out there.I had issues setting this laptop up. The first time you turn it on, it asks you some questions: what keyboard layout you want, what wifi you want to connect to, and so on. I couldn’t get past the wifi question. It sees mine and connects to it fine, but the Next button would take me to the “oops, your network cannot be found” screen. I’m using a brand new pair of Eero 6+ routers. As I said, I’m in IT, so I knew how to get around it using the oobe command. Once the Windows 11 desktop loaded, I was able to connect to my wifi without issues. There’s a warning in the product description that this is a frequently returned item and I can imagine this is why.Other than that, this laptop performs really well. There’s no lag despite having only 8gb of RAM, thanks to faster processor power and the NVME drive. I haven’t tried gaming on this laptop since I have a desktop computer already dedicated for gaming, but I’m sure this laptop can handle some games on its Meteor Lake Intel ARC graphics chip.

Nice laptop
This is a nice laptop for when you need to get work done on the go. I figured I’d give this a try to see if I like Windows at all. I don’t lol. Turns out I am an Apple boy through and through. This has the small slim size of my MacBook Air but lacks the performance capabilities. It’s a nice entry level laptop and it’s great for anyone who has an active on the go lifestyle. The small slim size and light weight of the laptop are really the key features here. Speakers are okay, battery life okay, and the performance are okay. Screen isn’t as crisp or clear as I’d like but it gets the job done. Overall I’d say this would be a solid laptop for a high school student or someone who wants a backup for work/travel.
