G Pro X version is excellent – G-Hub Software not so much.
The X version of this keyboard is aesthetically pleasing. I like how the keys light, being bright and clear with rich coloration. The keys markings are well shown without distracting side glitter/glow (e.g. Roccat Vulcan). I also like the cord, it is braided and more flexible than the non-X version. I am impartial to the Shroud decorative theme, fortunately it’s not too prominent.I can’t say that the keyboard has faster response time than some others (maybe) but what I can say is that subjectively, it feels good to use. It feels natural and never like an obstacle, it seems to help me get better game scores. I like the TKL format, it seems fine for use as a normal keyboard (productivity). While it’s a personal matter, I like the linear keys on the G Pro X/Shroud version much better than the standard version; these have a much better feel and better sound. The keys are still a bit clicky but much smoother sounding than the browns or blues. This is something you can’t evaluate by looking at a web page.I like the on-board profiles. You can setup your preferred key lighting, store into the default on-board profile and it will be remembered and show up on *any* computer that the keyboard is plugged into (without requiring any special software). However, for this to work, you have to store into the default profile. There is no published way to cycle between saved profiles without the support software which is quite lame.I REALLY dislike the G-HUB software — it’s a complicated mess. For me, the only thing that G-Hub has going for it is that the fonts are bigger and the menu is resizable. Fortunately, the Logitech Gaming Software is still available, much less fiddly and much more intuitive. Perhaps in some minor ways the Logitech Gaming Software is less functional (hard to say), but it gets the setup job done much more easily than G-Hub. I may try the G-HUB software again in future since it can possibly be improved (though probably it cant get worse).

Love this keyboard
Love the build quality, clicking noises and colors. I have seen reviews stating the keys fade after a few months, so we will see. Maybe they had messy fingers or something, or maybe the keys are poor quality. So far I am loving it

Innovative Hall-Effect Analog/Linear Mechanical Switch Keyboard
Typing experience was amazing. The key press feels noticeably smoother and faster than Cherry MX Brown Switch as well as Cherry MX Blue and Cherry MX Red Switches. You can customize rapid trigger, key actuation point, as well as Lightsync RGB lighting, Button mapping, etc. via Logitech G Hub software.Only side is that it does not come with numpads since this is TKL (Ten Keyless) version which was why it was specifically designed for competitive eSport players to compete other players during tournament. But since I’m not pro tournament gamer, I just want to use this keyboard for typing, gaming, and professional productivity work such as animation and sketches. In addition, it doesn’t come with Lightspeed Wireless technology which is a bummer. Not only that, but it also doesn’t come with carry pouch to transport for vacation on flight.Yes, it comes with USB C to USB A Cable to connect from your keyboard to your computer.Other than that, the Hall-Effect mechanical switches were very impressive and innovative to address actuation key presses, and also ideal to improve gameplay responsiveness and especially input lag, regardless game engine title.P.S. if you need numpads, you can purchase numpads from 3rd party vendors which they sell wide variety of key numpads on the market which may cost roughly between $15-$25 before sales tax.

A good mechanical keyboard for those who want their experience to be “one and done”
I have owned several mechanical keyboards over the past 3 years. Ranging from cheap crap like Red Dragon, to consumer stuff like Corsair and Razer, as well as some of the higher end custom boards like the TOFU60 and some KBDfans stuff. For the money, I think you can do SO much better. While I appreciate the RGB quality and the sheer amount of endless RGB customization the GHUB software allows you, that is about the only thing I can rate highly.Construction is not totally terrible for a board built primarily out of plastic. But it is very hollow sounding and does not have much substance to it when typing. Has a nice weight to it and the adjustable angle stands are nice and have been useful. Stabilizers are average, but definitely nothing special. Why are they STILL using MICRO USB? It literally would cost them less than $0.30 to use USB-C instead. I dont get it. Keycaps dont seem to be double shot PBT, but theyre decent quality nonetheless. Nice RGB shine through. Switches are proprietary Logitech Blue clicky switches. They are pretty meh. If you like the sound of a loud dry keypress with significant amount of travel and play, then youll like it. Otherwise, if youve used boards that have a more consistent and overall smooth feeling keypress, this will not be a treat to use.I think this keyboard is half decent for most folks who want something they can buy once and not have to think about again after that. But if you have very high standards, have used modded or custom or just better quality keyboards prior, this one will very likely not be a great experience.Personally, I went out on a limb because I finished building my latest PC much quicker than I anticipated and have since sold the TOFU60 I had and my backup board which was a Corsair. So I bought this on a whim wanting to give a GPRO product a try. However after a month of use, I am going to revert to building a good starter 60% or maybe TKL mechanical keyboard since that can be done for under 150 and overall can feel 10 times better than this GPRO. :lTLDR6/10. Would recommend to people wanting something that they dont have to worry about ever again after purchasing. Anyone else, I would suggest taking a pass and getting an entry level custom starter board that has intent to be modded down the road.
