best mouse I’ve used
been gaming for many years and have used a handful of different mice. there isn’t a whole lot more that I could add to the overall positive reviews of this mouse, so I’ll just keep it simple. This mouse has worked and continues to work flawlessly every day for the last 3.5 years since I bought it. The battery life is also still amazing. I charge this thing maybe once in 2 weeks for about 30 minutes via a power bank. The clicks of all the buttons feel as snappy and responsive as day one.I don’t personally have any complaints about this mouse and would highly recommend it.

Good Mouse For Gaming and Architecture
I’ve been using this mouse for the better part of a year now and I must say its been great. I am personally somewhat purist in nature hence why I picked this over its newer, lighter G502 X counterpart; it has better materials and a better design aesthetic than its successor the G502 X line (I like the pointy front).I do not game much, but I say if you are a gamer, especially FPS or play fast paced games, there are lighter mouse options for you. If you play slower paced games where extra buttons are helpful get this mouse. People have mentioned ghost-clicks, but I haven’t noticed an issue with that.I am also an architecture student, and alongside basic computer usage, that’s what I mostly use this mouse for. For architecture this mouse has been absolutely amazing. It has plenty of extra buttons that I assign as shortcuts for different commands across the different software I use. It actually improves my workflow by a significant margin. I do wish it would have one or two extra buttons but, that’s just me being excessive, as the number of buttons it has are 99% of the time enough.Only cons I have are that the battery life is pretty low. I have to charge it every other week and I feel like I should be charging it once a month. Another is lack of a USB-C charging port. I know this mouse is older than the newer version, but I got the version that has the non-braided, rubber cable meaning they updated elements of this product in its life cycle. They should do the same with its charging port, especially since I am still seeing very recent reviews of people buying this product the year I am writing this review. I also wish there was a bluetooth option, even though this is a gaming mouse, they clearly have no concern for weight with this model so a bluetooth option would be very convenient.

Perfect if you use it right (G HUB)
Ergonomics:Size wise I have medium hands for a man. I came from using a Razer Deathadder 2013 for the last 7 years and the fit and feel is very similar. I would say to best use the G502âs buttons Iâm shifting my hold position up a little more on the mouse but ergonomically it feels just as good.Latency:Canât tell the difference between a wired mouse. Iâm using the highest report rate which uses the most battery but Iâm okay with the trade off.G HUB:If youâre having problems you might be using it wrong. You donât even need it on your computer after you set up the mouse profile (a tip later), or you can have it set up to not startup with the computer and leave it on there to tweak when you want. Best of both worlds. In G HUB you can program all the buttons, lighting effects and intensity (to save some battery life, I use 44%) and most importantly dpi, as well as the dpi shift speed which I really kind of love. Now there will be people out there saying âI transferred my profile onto the onboard memory, itâs not holding it right when I start up I have to open G HUB to get my mouse acting right DPI setting wiseâ. Thatâs all user error. In the program by default there are 3 DPI settings in white, which are meant to be what you adjust through with the dpi buttons up and down if you want that. Most people donât want or need that and on startup it goes to the lowest setting. G HUB could make this more clear because I donât know why you would want to shift through DPI so often anyways. Regardless delete the other two and leave a single white DPI setting and a yellow DPI shift setting. At startup of the mouse/computer your DPI will be as expected without having to open G HUB. What happens when you do it no longer goes to lowest DPI option but instead goes to the one it was set to. Copy profile over to onboard and never use the program again, delete it or leave it, disable auto startup so it doesnât mess with PC performance. Itâs up to you and I canât fault this at all. It flat out works however you want it to.Overall:Happy to have made the switch to this mouse. I was torn between Razer and Logitech and you probably canât go wrong with either but I have no experience with Razer wireless. A docking station that isnât the PowerPlay mat would be nice though. Razer having that is nice from a desk/wire clutter standpoint and frankly the PowerPlay mat is too small. As an engineer that does 3D modeling and a PC gamer at night this mouse performs great.

Great mouse
I’ve been buying Logitech mice for a few years now. When my original G602 wireless mouse (black/silver) started double clicking all the time, I tried to buy replacement. However, the price jumped from $85 to over $200. So I went with G604. Worked great, better than G602 version. 2 years in the G604 started same double click behavior. Could not find a way to fix it so started shopping for new mouse. G604’s were also going for $200+ for a used one (not paying that). So I find this G502 version which works just as well, minus a few extra programable buttons that I never used anyways.I love the adjustable weights. I could not figure out where to put the heavier weights though. Even Logitech site did not have instructions for it, but I improvised and used a ball barring in the rear of the mouse. heavier than weights it came with, but I prefer a heavy mouse so worked out for me.IMPORTANT – I purchased a padded case for these mice to prevent excess wear/tear when traveling with them. The left click buttons on Logitech mice wear down the fasts. if you find a gaming mouse you LOVE, buy a couple. I swear this is the only time I’ve seen old tech increase in value. If you don’t, buying a replacement a couple years later will cost you triple original price!I use these mice for work, not gaming, but customizations allow me to help get my work done faster. Having the same button wear down on 2 mice in a row, make me question the quality of their products. If this 3rd one has the same issue, I am done with Logitech products.

Great mouse! Smooth, comfortable, adjustable weight, and tons of functionality. Battery lasts about a week for me before needing to be recharged, which is more than enough. Even then, it charges pretty fast. Previously used a mouse that had 2 side buttons and some DPI buttons in the middle aside from the normal features, but this one has those oriented in a different more ergonomic position along with an additional thumb button that can be held to temporarily adjust your DPI which is great for FPS games. It also has a toggle switch for infinite scroll, which while I haven’t found much use for, works as intended and pretty fun to do. Never going back to a corded mouse. Can highly recommend!
