Why do the controllers feel warm when charging?
Unlike Li-ion batteries, it is normal for NiMH rechargeable batteries to heat up while charging. There is no need to worry about this temperature increase, as the built-in temperature protection prevents overheating.
What should I do if temperature protection is triggered?
Built-in temperature protection automatically stops charging when the battery temperature rises above the trigger point. When charging stops, remove the controllers from the charging cradle and let them cool for 5-10 minutes.
Why are my controller batteries not charging?
Please make sure the batteries are positioned correctly in the controllers. Install the rechargeable battery with correct polarity. Make sure that the 2 bare metal sheets align with the outerframe of battery compartment.
Why are my controller batteries not charged up to 100%?
Normally, the controller is fully charged, but the Quest may still show 90% or less. Don’t worry, this is completely normal. Your AMVR charging dock will keep the Quest 2 controller slightly below 100% to maximize battery life and health.

Worth every penny
The charging dock is solidly built and well put together. Assembly was easy and intuitive with clear instructions provided. Just make sure you remove any protective films because I thought it was a dud until I realized I forgot to do that & that is why the controllers weren’t charging.The dock charges one item at a time, prioritizing the headset first. A pulsing amber light means the corresponding item is charging, a steady amber light means it needs to charge, & a green light means it is fully charged.The dock comes with two rechargeable batteries for the controllers & a battery cover to make them chargeable in the dock. The battery covers also feature a Velcro strap that adds a lot of stability and improves grip, reducing your chances of tossing your controller significantly, while remaining easy to adjust for multiple users.It does not come with it’s own charging cable, as it is designed to use the one that comes with the headset. So if you have lost or damaged your cable, this will not replace it.I have had this dock for a week & have no complaints about it performance. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a combo charging/storage solution.

My son loves this docking/charging station. Everything stays on this nicely to get a charge and looks nice, no clutter when charging. A much better solutions to plugging in and laying on the floor like he was doing before.

It’s great for the money, with a catch
It is cheaper than the Anker, but don’t let that fool you. I’d say that they both have their pros and cons but ultimately it’s just as reliable.It charges quick it’s sleek and holds all the pieces very well.The downside is similar to the Anker. It has to be on there just right to start charging which takes a couple tries. This one is the magnetic but for the headset doesn’t always click out when contact is made but charges very well when it is. And on my particular one the left controller doesn’t like to charge on the dock and it seems to be the magnetic peice it sits in. I see no reason the controller part needs to be separate especially at the expense of not connecting every time. But it does charge well when it does finally engage.

Good product, amazing customer service
Love the convenience of rechargeable battery in handsets, but the wrist straps distinguish this product from the plethora of options out there. They are critical when boxing in supernatural!Had a minor issue where the left controller wasnât charging. Contacted company and after just a simple chat they replaced for free. Very much appreciated them making it easy. That alone is worth 5 stars to me!

Great support and product.
Bought two of these as we have two meta quest units. Very happy with them. The hand strap is quicker and easier than the rope that comes with the quest. I see some people complain about the charging and the magnet. They are a little tricky once in awhile, and you kind of have to move the VR headset and controllerâs just right to get the chargers to work, but itâs really not a big deal. It only takes a second to get them to mate up correctly. Has these for several months now and no complaints. One of the controller hand straps broke, and I messaged the companies customer service and they quickly helped to get us a replacement part. Very happy overall.

Stops working in less than a year
The headset charging piece stopped working about 4 months in but we kept using the charging dock for the controllers. Well about 10 after buying this those stopped working too. Weâve changed out the rechargeable batteries, tried trouble shooting and nothing is working. The left controller will charge but the right will not no matter what we do (cleaning connections, unplugging dock and plugging back in, changing rechargeable batteries, verifying batteries are facing connections).$60 is a lot of money for a charger that doesnât even work for a full year

Doesnât maintain charge
After using this product for four months it stopped charging my headset and controllers. The lights stay green giving the impression the devices are charged.

I wouldâve purchased this just for a stand that charges my headset but also getting the rechargeable batteries for the hand controllers along with the grips makes this purchase even MORE valuable! Looks amazing and works awesome! I like how you can customize the look with the detachable hand chargers! When I first purchased my Oculus a similar model was over $100 and didnât have the added value of the grips and batteries so I was super excited when I saw this!
