Using on Asus ROG Ally and it works
I bought this for my docked Asus ROG ALLY hand held gaming computer and love it. The dock I use takes up a couple watts of power from the 65watt factory power supply preventing me from being able to reach the glorious 53watt setting on the CPU and with this 100watt power supply I’m able to get the full benefit of the 53watt setting in Ammo Crate. If you own an Asus ROG ALLY you want this power supply it actually works when other power supplies do not. It’s hard finding a power supply that works with the Asus ROG ALLY that is why I’m doing this review. The size of the brick fits nicely in my travel carrier as it isn’t that much larger than the stock power supply. I call it a power supply as the ROG ALLY battery barely gets 45min of charge and docked it turns into a fantastic gaming computer. It comes with a fantastic 6foot USB C to USB C charge cable feels thick and expensive. The for $29 your getting your monies worth. And it is all wrapped up in a glorious black finish that matches the factory power supply.This power supply should work handsomely with any device that can charge off of 100watts or less. It supports I’m sure the Power Delivery standard with a few customizations that allows Anker to give it it’s own name whatever as long as it works with everything and it does it doesn’t bother me at all. I guess the real win here is that it provides great power without getting hot. It stays cool to the touch so that means top shelf components with probably a really high overhead to be able to stay cool at 100watts of power delivery. It’s very difficult to figure out when to stop a review so now is as good as throwing in ten more words.
