Works perfect!
I have been using this phone stand for a few months now and I HAD to come on and write a review! This stand is perfect! I am a nail technician and this is the best for recording and making content! The stand can raise or lower and adjust angles so you can get the perfect shot. The magnetic holder is durable and strong. Strong magnet, sturdy base!
I use this stand with an iPhone 13 (naked for now), and it’s great. The base is a weighted plastic, the neck is metal, and the magnet is strong with a soft rubberized texture for a light but decisive snap against the phone. The ball joint moves very smoothly with little resistance, but also firmly holds the position you set with no sag.I’ve used this for a week now, and it’s great. I can charge my phone without setting it on it’s side, which has been great for video chat programs that don’t auto orient when you change the phones angle (looking at you WhatsApp). It’s also easy to move, so I can just grab the stand as I travel around my house and set it in the new location. I can also rotate the phone while it’s on the stand very fluidly.The only complaint is that the product listing pictures claims it has 360 degree rotation. I knew this wasn’t true when I bought it. It has a vertical rotation of approximately 80 degrees, and a horizontal rotation of about 20 degrees; the horizontal rotation limit is not an issue since the whole stand can be lifted and rotated with ease as well, essentially enabling 360 degree rotation on this axis. I’d knock a half star maybe for the misleading claims, but I don’t think it was intentional.This product is very solid, especially for the price. The design is aesthetically pleasing as well. The only way to improve it is to make the neck flexible to allow for more vertical rotation (to allow for the front facing camera to look down), but I think it will serve excellently for most use cases. No stars taken off, as my complaints are very minor and specific.

Great MagSafe Phone Stand For The Price
This MagSafe phone stand is the best you will find for the price! I have tried 5 different stands at this price point and this by far is the best. Main reason is because of the base. The base is heavy enough to allow for one handed removal of your phone where as the other stands required two hands to remove the phone. The magnet is very strong and the adjustable height is a plus. The only thing I do not like about this stand is that your phone wobbles when you touch the screen and use the phone. This is because of the magnetic portion that attaches to the stem. It’s not completely tight and is loose because there are no screws to fasten it to the stem. The magnetic portion that is attached to the stem moves around when you turn it. I would love to see an updated version where the stem and the magnetic portion is all on piece that screws in to the base. This would solve the problem. But other than that this phone stand is excellent! Especially for the price!

Great solution for iPhone webcam
My 12-year old Cinema Displays continue work fine and meet my needs. However, the built-in webcams have either failed or aren’t compatible with current adapter cables. Getting a decent webcam can be expensive but this phone holder mount allows me to use an iPhone 15 Pro Max as an excellent alternative. The goose neck allows for a wide range of mounting configurations and the MagSafe connection is solid. I was worried about the weight of the phone but the mount and neck are rock solid. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

The sturdiness of the “neck” is great along with the flexibility. Also the stregnth in the grip of the clamp, strong but without damaging whatever you tighten it down on- very satisfied with these two aspects of the product.I was EXCITED to finally find a gooseneck with a magnet instead of the adjustable holder…. BUT after attempting to use the “magnet” I’m a little confused? Where’s the magnet?? Just kidding, pretty sure there’s just a refrigerator magnet stuck to plastic circle attached to the ball socket. The magnet is so weak, it wouldn’t hold my phone with or without the case (YES, I have the magnet pad on my phone when using stand.) I’ve NEVER had a magnetic phone stand that won’t even hold my phone. ITS SO IRRITATING! I paid the extra money because of the magnet, I could have just bought the $11 gooseneck with the adjustable phone holder and removed the holder and rigged a 3M magnet base to it.. like I did before- and I should have, because this thing is JUNK and has a super small ball socket, and I have no connector to fit it.Guess I’ll throw this in the outdoor storage with all the rest of the junk I’ve been tricked into buying… Falling for all the BS… false advertising. (DO NOT RECOMMEND unless you don’t care about the strength of the magnet…)

Not stiff enough
Everything was awesome about it except that it isn’t stiff enough and so when my phone is on it it wobbles pretty easily and can fall down with just a slight push

Desk stand
Perfect for on my desk- I do a lot of phone calls on speaker during the day for work and it holds the phone up so there is no feedback from standing the phone itself. Magnet is sufficiently strong.
