Exactly what I needed.
It was gamble, when ordering refurbished items. I Guess I was lucky because it felt so new. Runs like a dream for what I needed for. The size is spot on ans the quality of the build is expected from microsoft. The values is also good as I really consider buying something with a less prominent name. The wifi, sound and speed of thread tablet laptop is perfect for my needs which is running outlook and adoble is. Take a chance I know not all refurb come out like this one but this didn’t have even a scratch on it. I say for the price go for it.

Second failed Refurbishment = Not a Fluke
This refurbished Surface Pro is the 2nd tablet that I got from this company. They were both allegedly Amazon-certified refurbs, and both have issues. The first one arrived with a broken charging cable and NO internal battery. This tablet makes a VERY loud sound coming from the fan, and the battery gets very warm very fast. I need this tablet for school, and I couldn’t possibly use this in class as it would be a huge noise distraction. I adjusted the battery to recommended setting, updated, and restarted all like 3 times. Nothing worked. It’s going back to this shady company, and I will not purchase anything from them again. They clearly cannot QA/QC…or they just don’t care. Huge waste of my time.

Looks and Works Great, Got Keyboard, Crappy Charger
Ok so this works perfect for what I use it for, mainly music composition on the go, art, and some old games here and there.Came to me in great shape with a Microsoft brand keyboard. There are a few scratches strangely behind the kickstand. And though the off brand power supply/ charger that was sent works, it spark really hard everytime its plugged in. For those 2 reasons I gave it 4/5 star. All the negative reviews was offputting when looking at these refurb units but im really happy that I decided to get one. It makes me feel that they are just buying the cheapest one on the refurb list (when I looked they were not listed in good shape) when I opted for one in great shape, payed a little more and had no problem.

Check Your Power Cable’s Wattage!
I purchased the Surface Pro 5 (2017) refurbished, the seller was Primetek Solutions. They originally lost my package, or put it in the wrong order Group. Which they quickly remedied, and it still arrived within the time originally estimated on Amazon. However I did have to contact them in order for them to know that they had done so. Otherwise I imagine my package would still be sitting as just a FedEx label. The Surface itself was in great shape, other then a small crack in the upright corner, however it’s on the frame section of the glass and doesn’t appear to be a deep crack.Everything is functional and it appears to be factory reset before receiving.I received a power cable, which appears to be some sort of off brand charger for it, which is fine (however this is an issue see below for more details). However, after plugging in my Surface cover (purchased separately), I noticed almost instantly that the touch pad would have intermittent disconnect issues, while the keyboard continued working during these issues. After looking into this issue further I discovered that the Surface Pro 5 (2017) model takes a 44w charger, and the replacement off brand one I was given is a 65w charger. I also found out that running the Surface Pro 5 on a higher voltage will cause short out issues, and battery issues such as overcharging aka killing the battery. So to anybody experiencing battery issues better check your power supply make sure it’s 44w, otherwise you might have problems such as the battery exploding or the charger itself catching on fire.Luckily I was able to find a Walmart online that sold original OEM Surface 44w charger. So I’ve ordered one of those to replace this cord before it does too much damage to the battery or the Surface itself.

Concerning experience
Hello, upon receiving my tablet i immediately noticed a hairline crack on the outside of screen. Okay, i bought it refurbished (perfect condition claim by the way) i knew the risk. However the big concern is that this tablet came with a preloaded account called “microsoft surface 4”, and Bitlocker turned on to prevent factory reset and removal of this account. Very shady. After turning off bitlocker and removing the account it does actually run well. Some positive yay… but given the microcrack that appears to have been attempted to be filled and hidden, i am giving a 1 star review and 0 faith in that returning this would yeild a better refurbished tablet.
