Works well
I had a surface before this one. I only replaced it because it was stuck in an endless update loop (other surface owners know how fun that is) so I had to replace it. This one has a different charging port which I am thankful for since the magnetic one was a pain. Runs well, was in good shape, was easy to set up and use, I love the touch screen, considering it was refurbished it looked brand new. The battery life is about what you expect on a tablet so thereâs nothing to complain about. Overall, I love it.

Very satisfied
Don’t usually buy used electronics especially something like a computer. I wanted something halfway decent and didn’t want to spend a lot of money on this. The other new computers for the same price I was not very impressed with. So I figured I would get something used that was nice. This was used rated as excellent condition. Glad I made the purchase.

The scratches are bothersome especially since I paid for it to be in excellent condition

Highly recommend
Got this for my wife so she can work from home and use as a family computer/ tablet. Very quick and responsive and not too heavy. We took it on a road trip and connected to the hotspot just fine and researched places we wanted to stop at. would recommend to anyone looking for a new computer/tablet for home use or work

Worthy successor to my Surface Pro 4
My Surface Pro 4 was coming up on six years and was down to about 1.5 hours of battery life. I bought this as a replacement and I am happy with the purchase. The battery life isn’t world-beating, but it is still pretty good. The performance is vastly improved. The new hardware and updated Core I5 provide fast wake-up and facial recognition. The quality, power, and portability are still there – and those are the things that attracted me to Surface Pro originally. You NEED the type cover. It has always struck me as a marvel of engineering. It is a satisfying typing experience in a very small package. The backlit keys are also appreciated. The pen is less important for most people, although annotating your slides when presenting can be useful – and cool. I use mine rarely, but I am not an artist. Overall, this is a solid system that I have no qualms about recommending to those who want a top-shelf Windows tablet.

The tablet screen is dead after 5 mo – update
At first, the product was fine, but after 5 months of light use, it became unresponsive. I tried to press the power button and sound + button multiple times, and no reaction. It turned out it was Windows hello, if you don’t set it up, the tablet stops working if there is no other sign in method. I was able to get it to work again.

Replacement
My daughters first surface pro had a horrible accident. We wanted to get a replacement. So far so good. Tablet was in NEW condition as far as the case goes. No scratches etc. Working well, feel good about the purchase. We also purchased the 4 year protection plan

Product arrived in professional packaging, wrapped in plastic if it was to be brought brand new. very well refurbished as if it was brand new. The product works very well as if it was bought straight from the store. quick responsive. I purchased third party keyboard pen and Arc mouse and all three work very well.It does come with windows 10 but easily upgraded to windows 11. Battery life is great as I updated everything including the OS and my battery didn’t flinch using about a 1/4 battery every 2 hours so im excited to see how long it lasts when on normal non heavy use. only negative was that the product took quite a while to arrive but this was not due to the seller as it would be more of a shipping issue. definately recommend

While refurbished and an older model, I would take this anyway over my roommates Surface Go 3. Installed Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 and does everything I ask it to. Definitely recommend this for university students.

It’s tough to tell what about the device itself is troublesome or if it was just in need if further TLC before being resold. The device is consistently reliable with the addition of an external keyboard/mouse, provided you own a USB hub. With Windows 11, you are able to complete a wide variety of tasks using all sorts of different tools and utilities which makes office work extremely simple. Having the unit in power saving mode is a given, seeing as how the battery is capable of draining in as little as three hours. Being unable to complete a full day’s work on one charge forces the user into either routinely charging and unplugging the device to preserve the battery’s lifespan, or being lazy and simply allowing the device to remain plugged in at all times. The catch with this now is how fast and how much it heats up during use if it is charging. Unfortunately the whole device becomes extremely hot to the touch, but not too hot to burn skin of course. The driver, however, is far too hot to touch at peak temperature.I only use this device for a few hours a day aside from watching Netflix, so the battery really isn’t a big deal to me. My big issue is the “astounding” 10-point multi-touch display. For something advertised to have incredible responsiveness to touch, there are a lot of times where the device is either frozen or specific sections on the display simply do not register touch inputs.Overall, I’d say it is not a worthwhile upgrade for anyone who owns a previous generation of this product. If older models have superior battery life and touch responsiveness, don’t waste your time or money. Never having owned one, it is at least neat. But that’s about as far as it goes beyond the convenience of portability, which is quickly crushed by the frequent need to recharge.
