    Worth it! Color me impressed!
Excellent. No probs. Not only is this one of the greatest sleeper phones on the market but the prices is amazing. I was hesitant about getting a renewed device but man am I glad I did. It came looking brand new but without original packaging. Included a USB-C cable, charging block and a cheap rubber phone case that I immediately replaced with a super nice Spigen branded one.The software is smooth and not bloated, the hardware is acceptable and performs admirably. Let’s do the math. You’re getting a 6.4 inch 1080p screen, Snapdragon CPU, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of Storage, SDcard support, headphone jack, fingerprint reader, stereo speakers, 5000 mAH battery and Android 10 – for $180. Wow, just… wow. It’s a very esthetically pleasing device, as phones go. Appreciate the hole punch camera instead of an ugly notch some phones come with. Plays games just fine. Speakers are super loud. Calling works as expected. 2 day battery life is awesome. I love this phone. And I also love that the Amazon renewed version I bought came in such great condition. The price to features/performance ratio on this thing is phenomenal. At $180, you cannot beat it. The only cons I see is that Motorola only gives their phones one OS update. So Android 11 is the only upgrade it’ll ever have. The camera is average. Certainly not terrible. It takes perfectly fine photos in daylight, but it’s going to struggle in low light environments. It’s fine for my needs.Highly recommended. Don’t sleep on the Moto G Power 2020. Ignore the 2021 version. It’s actually a downgrade from this one, which is unfortunate. Hopefully Motorola will come hard again in 2022 with this model. Love this phone to death.

    Great mid-range phone
This phone has phenomenal battery life & great reception. It does everything relatively well (considering it’s price) & it even can be used for games. It would be AWESOME if it had NFC function for contactless payments. It also doesn’t have face recognition option but the fingerprint scanner is accurate & fast enough. I recommend that phone as long as you could live with it’s limitations.

Highly recommend highly reliable highly affordable…go for it
This phone is a Premium feeling phone. It reminds me of the essential phone which I got a few years back as it is pretty much a stock android experience but not at all a pixel device. Everything is well polished about this phone, from the UI software to the external hardware. Battery life is phenomenal. Since it’s not my daily driver, I left it sitting on my desk in standby mode for about a week and change and it still had enough juice in there for me to at least supposedly watch a couple movies before dying. What I wish this phone offered:AMOLED displayA better cameraStereo speakersThen I’d be absolutely sold on this device. But that does not mean rid bit already a great phone.

    Great so far
No issues so far. Battery performs well. Put my Verizon Sim card in and everything worked immediately. Haven’t tried WiFi calling while out of service yet though, didn’t work on my old G7 Power. That might be an issue with unlocked phones on Verizon’s part though. If I didn’t know any better I would have thought this was a brand new phone. I’m going to order another one as a backup. Call me crazy if you want but im avoiding f5ive dgee. Time will tell if this phone holds up or not, being renewed and all. I’ll update this review if anything changes. Thankful that you can still get the 2020 model, I heard 2021 and 22 models are a downgrade.

    Couldn’t be more disappointed
Had an identical phone that I dropped and broke. I loved my old phone so decided to get the same make and model but get a renewed version from amazon. The phone is unlocked but still tells me that I do not have a Verizon sim card inserted, though I do have my TMobile sim card in (my last phone never did this and was unlocked also). The signal quality is far worse than my last phone. I’ll be in places (like my home where I never had signal issues before), have full bars then try to make a call and have none all of a sudden. This makes call quality go from perfect to hearing every third word on about 90% of my calls. Everyday for the first 10 days, it had a major update that needed wifi to finish. I figured anyone of these would fix the issues I was having but did not.Couldn’t be more disappointed honestly. I know what this model of phone is capable of and that amazon’s renewed version is far inferior. Do yourself a favor and don’t be like me, pay a little extra and wait the extra day of shipping and just buy a new 2020 Moto g power.

The moto G power replaced my old tablet
I purchased this for my wife because I already had one and used mine as a wifi tablet. It really works well with just wifi – no sim card. My wife intends to add a sim card to replace her old samsung phone. I did get a free number for texting. My hearing is so bad that I cannot really use it as a normal phone. The computer technology in it really works well. I am a computer nerd who appreciates Linux and Windows on reasonably priced computing power units. I enjoy the computing power of this reasonably priced tablet – that is how I use it. It will also replace my backpacking camera because the camera works so well. If I find a good mapping utility that allows me to download my maps via wifi before going into the field, it will replace my expensive, high quality GPS units.
