Easily The Best Monitor Iâve Owned.
Iâve wanted a new monitor for a while to take advantage of my gaming pc, and this MSI monitor delivers every aspect I desire. This MSI monitor is bright, vibrant, and has fantastic contrast. The glossy coating helps make images pop, unlike other OLED monitors I saw from Samsung and LG. I was worried I would miss the 4k resolution of my old IPS monitor, but I didnât. The MAG 271QPX E2 blows my old IPS monitor out of the water, and itâs not even close. Response times are instant, and I immediately noticed that going from 60hz to 240hz was a massive leap in smoothness. Navigation through the menu was simple, and settings were easy to configure. This MSI monitor’s ergonomics, design, and build quality are top-notch. Many people complained about text fringing, and while it exists, it is not as big of a deal as many people make it out to be; itâs still very sharp with its 1440p resolution. Another overblown complaint is the purple hue of QD-OLED, and unless you have very, VERY harsh lighting in your room, itâs essentially a non-issue when the monitor is on. In addition, I use this monitor with my Nintendo Switch, which makes playing games brand new again with this QD-OLED Panel. Overall, I highly recommend this monitor to anyone looking into an OLED monitor at a fair price; MSI is the way to go with its 3-year burn-in warranty.

Great monitor for a great price
The color accuracy is great and brightness level well above what is the minimum that I require. The refresh rate (240hz) is quite the bonus along with the response rate (0.03), but the true star is the contrast levels and the color’s brightness. The software and navigation is quite comfortable and intuitive and MSI has enabled the use of updates for this model which helps further with color accuracy and other quality of life improvement. And talking about quality of life I suggest using MSI QOLED Care as much as possible to avoid burn-in and it takes just a couple of minutes every 4 hours which is reasonable.It is a great monitor and a really good upgrade from a VA panel, not as bright as the Mini Led but bright enough for 80 to 90% of the people and HDR is impressive thanks to the blacks and 0 bleeding, but it is not going to blind you for ever as miniled (I do enjoy the light blasts but compromises are necessary). If you can get it at a discount it probably one of the if not the best option out there for the price point.

Very good monitor that is priced well with some small issues.
This monitor is priced very well compared to the competition. The colors are near perfect and it has a built in blue light filter that makes the monitor easier on the eyes. The blacks are much better compared to my ips and the refresh rate is super smooth. The only reason I am rating the monitor 4 out of 5 stars is because with my amd gpu it causes driver timeouts frequently. I have used 2 240hz 1440p monitors now. This is the only one that has had this amd driver timeout happen. I returned the other monitor which was an asus because it had poor qc and came smudged. The options for the display are also very limited. Sniper mode is basically a gimic because it is a very big square that it zooms in. Not much fine control with it. I have tried VRR on and off and find that when it is on it makes games crash or blackscreen for awhile when alt tabbing. Also not sure what the issue is there. With it being cheaper than the other oled monitors there are bugs to be expected. Also my monitor does not want to update the drivers. It has a lower version and should be able to be updated but it does not work. fails every time.

Read the manual before assembling.It has no sound, but who ever use monitor volume anyway?So far, I love it.I have been using it a few days and yep, once you go OLED all other monitors look very old with washed colors.Pictures load much faster, no latency or stutters.I am glad I took the leap to OLED and MSI got a very good value for OLED screens as well as quality and a solid RMA warranty if needed.They have a program that refreshes the monitor to prevent burn in issues, which is a plus because myself I wouldn’t take care of that, so when this happen just chill and get a drink.

Wow, what an awesome product!First, i received the package two days earlier than the guaranteed amazon date, which is exceptionnal.Second, everything was intact, and assembly was really easy.Out of the box, everything was great, and i managed to upgrade the firmware very easily with the online drivers, on the manufacturer’s website. I run the monitor at 2560×1440 via DP at 240hz.The quality of the board is amazing, everything is fluid, the blacks are very dark (I previously had an IPS monitor). Having HDR as a possibility is incredible as the range of colors is vivid.I got the board at around 300$ discount just after christmas and regret absolutely nothing !!!

OLED is truly incredible, my old monitor had a va panel, and the upgrade is so huge!the vibrant colors, the inky deep blacks, it’s truly awesomeThe monitor has a glossy panel, so bright lights can reflect of it, therefore I recommend putting it in a light-controlled enviroment.the monitor comes with a displayport cable, and an HDMI cable. however, the power plug is a us plug not a uk plug.the stand is very easy to install, and doesn’t require any extra tools.I’ve also noticed some considerable eye-strain and headaches, but using the warm preset and lower brightness vastly helped with that.

I upgraded from a 1440p 240Hz IPS panel to this OLED version. the price of oleds has come down quite a bit in recent year making the value of these panels a lot better. The blacks are so much deeper and colour contrast is a lot better when even compared to woled monitors due to the qd-oled panel. The higher response time also really decreased ghosting and artifacting if you play on really high refresh rates. while burn in is a worry with oleds, msi has included many features in this model to mitigate and even remove the possibility of this.some non-technical pros:The built in psu for the monitor made the power cable much easier to install.The monitor itself is is super flat, taking up less space on my small desk.There is usually some type of promotion offered by msi that increases the value of these monitors greatly.

Awesome QD OLED monitor! The monitor arrived in good condition as there is enough Styrofoam to protect the monitor during transit. Assembling and attaching the monitor to the stand was straightforward. Colours look great and are more vibrant than my previous IPS monitor. Everything is super smooth and the screen is decently bright. The build quality is excellent and the screen is one of the best I have seen. Also another nice feature is you can rotate the monitor with a lot of range. Looking forward to getting some gaming sessions in and watching some movies and shows! Haven’t done any calibration yet but will do that soon.
