Really good power supply with a nice peace of mind feature.
So far works flawlessly. Actually a bit smaller than my previous modular power supply. Easy to install.One feature I really, really like and the reason I ordered this one over others is the included 12vhp cable with yellow pins. I just upgraded to a 4070ti super and decided to get a power supply with a 12vhp cable included rather than using an adapter. I heard horror stories about 12v from reviewers and users alike(not specifcally MSI’s, but the format as a whole”. The yellow pins make it exceedingly easy to know for sure the cable is fully seated so I at least know that user error isn’t something I have to worry about with the 12vhp.

Very nice power supply…but oh the fan noise!
There’s a lot of great things to like about this power supply, including the removable connectors, the many cable options, and the clearly labeled connections. Though I can’t speak about longevity yet, I’d assume it will last quite a while.The problem is with the fan. I can’t say for certain what the speed was at cold start, and there wasn’t any rattling per-se, but the fan was just loud, like way too much air noise for just starting up. I took it apart to investigate, and saw there was a Martech 12V fan being powered by 5V. So this is the lowest voltage setting for this fan, and with heat this will only get faster/louder.For Ss and Gs I powered this stock fan with an external power supply and varied it from 5V to 12V and it did indeed get faster and louder….very loud….like a drone flying around. If this was in your computer, I can guarantee it would be the loudest thing in there…no thanks!An option could be to buy a quieter fan, but due to the voltage speed control in this PSU, there’s no way to know (or control for that matter) the speed or temperature. So I bought a standard Noctua 12V fan to replace the stock fan, and wired it to the motherboard. This way, both the temperature and speed can be controlled.Now it’s working great, it’s much quieter, and I can boost the fan only when the system needs it.

Great PSU
Price$$$- Got my 850GL on sale for $100 after tax. Iâd buy it full price though. Havenât had any performance issues driving my 4070 ti super/7600x combo. Think it holds its own against Corsair/Asus/Seasonic. Proof you donât have to overpay for a good psu.Noise- I see other reviews complaining about noise, although mine is dead silent. Maybe in time, I will update on the noise level, my build is still relatively new (1 month old). Just personal experience. It does feel hefty.Weight/Size- I used a NZXT H6 flow and it fit perfect. As a first time pc builder, I was surprised at the weight of the package when it arrived. I donât see that as a drawback unless you donât happen to have great grip strength, I could see it being an issue.Cables- The cables are flat and flexible, making them great for cable management. Overall, Iâd recommend this unit 10/10.

La verdad no es nada ruidosa, los cables son de calidad, trae todos los necesarios para un buen setup y realmente la calidad de sus componentes es de alta gama. RECOMENDADA
