Beast of a motherboard!
I don’t see a good valid reason to go with the God-Like version for twice the price when this motherboard has all you’ll ever need and some more. Unless you have money to throw away and burn, or you just really like the looks (aesthetics) of the God-Like motherboard and the 90-degree angle of the connectors. If you install two memory sticks, use channel A2 B2 to populate them, I do not recommend using all four memory slots since AMD has issues reaching the higher memory frequencies when all four memory slots are populated. I have 64gb 2x32gb @6400mhz sticks, and the expo profile 1 works perfectly with super stability. To avoid a long boot up every time with this motherboard, just enter the bios, and on the advanced tab select Memory Context Restore to (Enabled). But note that every time you do any changes in the bios pertaining to memory, the motherboard will retrain the memory and you’ll get Code 15 on the debug LED panel for almost a minute before the system boots up. So no, don’t panic, your board is not defective, the code 15 is normal and seems to last forever when we desperately want the system to boot up. But once the initial memory training takes place, and the context restore is enabled, you’ll be able to boot up as fast as any other system with ddr4 memory or Intel CPU.I have a Ryzen 9 7950X3D, and the only change I made on the bios to improve performance and thermals, was to actually undervolt the processor slightly, by going to PBO, set profile to manual, and then set the thermal throttle control to 80 (degrees) or even 75 if you don’t want it reaching the 80, and then on the CPU curve optimizer set to all cores (negative) and type in 20, or 15 if 20 is not too stable. That will make the processor draw slightly less power, and run slightly cooler and faster. But like I said, having a good motherboard gives you a bunch of options that you might miss, with lower end boards.Another confusing thing about this board that may scare many people on the Windows 11 installation, is that the WIFI and Ethernet cards on this board are not natively supported by windows 11, so upon the first boot, you will not have internet access, to overcome this, you can either bypass the windows 11 online account requirement, or you can use an inexpensive plug and play wifi adapter or a USB to ethernet adapter. If you get a Gen 5 M.2 NVME SSD for your primary drive, get the Crucial T705, the speeds are insane, over 14k MB/s both read and write. And it runs fairly cool. Speaking of that, another feature I love about this board, is that I can easily swap M.2 NVME SSDs from the gen 5 socket next to the memory slots, I love to play with installations and do some custom Windows 11 Installations, and instead of testing them with a virtual machine on virtual box, I like to actually use another ssd and do a clean full system installation!I know this board is a little expensive, but it is worth it and runs very very well.

This board is disaster with nothing but problems.
I have 64g gkill 6000 and this board takes forever to load up. So then they had me flash the bios and the firm malfunctioned. I can boot into bios. I cannot use my mouse and keyboard inside the bios menu. They want me to disconnect everything and reflash the bios.If I travel for work and Iâm gone for a week my board takes minutes for the ram and cpu to boot up. This was supposed to be solved with the bios flash. If I increase my ram mhz the board takes so long to boot up and sometimes doesnât even compute the ram. Iâm running 6000mhz at 3600.Sometimes it doesnât boot back up in sleep mode. The last straw was when I booted up and my keyboard wasnât working. I had to plug it out. I am returning this board itâs been a serious disaster. If you read reviews across multiple sites, a lot of people have the same issues. When you call them and explain whatâs going on, they act like theyâve never heard of this. Even though they have bios updates to fix it. Iâm tearing everything apart and installing a asus with a bios flashback option.Update:After speaking to a third technician on February 6, 2023 he was actually very helpful. It turns out the other two technicians didnât know what they were talking about. I did not have to remove all the components out of the computer to re-flash the bios. Thereâs also a certain usb slot on my board I needed to plug it in to. Itâs a good thing I was talking to him. He told me which slot it was dedicated to. The other two technicians didnât bother to check, even though I gave them my board information. I guess it matters who you talk to. Iâm not updating my rating on the experience Iâve had. I was literally about to return it and I thought let me give it one more try. I would rather get this to work correctly and tear everything out and switch to another board.

MSI PRO X670-P WIFI
I purchased this motherboard for an upgrade to my system using a new Ryzen CPU. Overall I have been satisfied with the product. The previous board I had was a MSI Gaming M5 for an Intel 6th gen CPU. I liked a lot of the features, ease of use and the UEFI which led me to stick with them on the second go around. The X670-P WIFI didn’t disappoint either. To start, There are a lot of things I like about this motherboard:-Simple UEFI/BIOS that is easy to find what you are looking for without spending too much time in.-MSI Center software that lets you easily monitor system specs, you can also add/remove certain parts of the software that you may or may not need which is a big plus for me.-Multiple Fan headers and dedicated header for a AIO pump, this is pretty standard on most boards these days but you can never have too many connectors for fans with newer cases seeming to have more and more each generation. (8 Total headers)-USB headers and connections, there are (2) 2.0, (2) 3.2 Gen1 and (1) 3.2 Gen 2 headers. I have only used a single for my case but like there are is plenty of options.-RGB connections for 3 and 4 pin, gives a lot of compatibility between RGB components right now.-Quality of the board and the finishes on the heatsinks feel very sturdy and premium. The overall aesthetic is nice and can go with many color schemes.-4 M.2 Slots provide plenty of expansion of drives, M.2 is quickly becoming the go to for storage so having several to use is nice for the future. There are a few things I do wish could be added or improved, although most of these are preferences and probably not the opinion of the majority:-The newer motherboards seem to be favoring LEDs that indicate failures in the POST, my previous MSI board had a counter display that could give specific error codes and would display the CPU temp during normal operation. In the ~$200 USD price range this seems like it would be a reasonable addition.-No options for boards without the built in Wi-Fi on the higher end, this is probably an unpopular opinion but I use wired connections for my desktop and just ended up disabling anyway. I’m sure there are plenty that enjoy this feature but would be nice to have a cheaper model without it.-More USB A connections on the rear panel as there are (6) with (2) USB C. The USB is great but I still have many peripherals that use the older A type and would be nice to not have to unplug, use a hub or get an adapter to use the type C. There are multiple headers so some cases may alleviate this problem with front panel connections.Overall, I really like this board and its features for the price point. There are not a lot of X670 chipsets that can be had for this price and for that I think it adds a lot of value. I have not had a lot of time to really dive into all the settings on the board and test, but haven’t found any performance issues yet. Most of my complaints are minor and therefore I will still give it a five star rating. If you are in the market for an X670 AM5 board, I would strongly advise considering this one for the price point and included features.
