    New Intel 12th gen build
Finally it’s time to upgrade to Win 11. This board was the least expensive one but with most of the features that I wanted. If you don’t overclock or put heavy load, this board is perfect. It just need a USB C port then it would be golden

You get what you pay for
I planned on using the product for a custom PC build. It was supposed to be new but it looks like a return with a ripped bag and missing a SATA cable. My review is getting censored so just buyer beware*Edit*Reached out to customer support and got the problem resolved in a timely manner and everything is working fine now. Great Motherboard for first pc build with argb connectors.

    No documentation or I/O plate.
Not sure if it’s supposed to ship out without a manual, but mine did not have one. Also, no I/O plate. Haven’t fully built the PC this is going into, so I will leave it at 4 until I see how it performs.

    Dead after 9 months…
CPU light of doom on after 9 months. Swapped every part (CPU, RAM, motherboard, SSD, reset the CMOS, etc) to no avail. I used it as a 24/7 server BUT it only hosted a few services and never ran over 50°C, and it sat in a cool room and was cleaned regularly.(CPU cooler and SSD mount is off in the photo as I was already disassembling the PC)A few other notable things is it was always plugged into a UPS for power redundancy (rules out any storm damage.) and the new motherboard I bought and installed with all of the same parts from the old build fired up right away with no issues.Nothing was overclocked, and I had many power saving features enabled (C-states, dynamic memory, etc) enabled to further reduce power consumption as it ran 24/7. The only thing that could have (unlikely) caused damage is the CPU cooler was set to turn on only when the CPU reached a certain temperature, and I took out the case fans to save additional power so there’s a small chance the motherboard could have gotten warm or hot, though motherboards are designed to shut themselves down in a thermal event (again, CPU never reached over 50°C, and the PC sat in a cool room housed in a mesh case)Bought this motherboard for around $76 used in December 2023 (came and died in perfect condition, see second photo)

    Hunt for drivers
It would have received 4 stars if it had come with a usb drive with drivers installed or if all the drivers were available on the manufacturer’s website. Instead I had to hunt down device codes on google and then download individual drivers.I am still trying to confirm I have the RAM fully clocked at 3200 it’s supposed to be. The Bios isn’t user friendly. On the positive side, it came with an onboard graphics card — unexpected, but this was a plus for setup. The Ez hardware status LED on the motherboard was great. It really helped with seeing which components were working correctly. Had to be used for both memory and graphics card, but now all work. This purchase was for a budget gaming pc for my son. Aside from the initial setup issues, it seems to be running fine.

This motherboard is great and has all you really need, I got it for only $104CAD on sale about $65 cheaper than the MSI PRO B660M-A after tax, I paired it with an I3 12100F, GTX 1070 FTW, and a single 16gb 3200Mhz stick of ram for now, I just swapped it with my old motherboard and my performance in 3DMark and other gaming applications improved A LOT over my E5-2650V2 Xeon setup while allowing me to get full use out of my 1070, it worked perfectly out of the box and the XMP feature was already enabled allowing the ram to overclock to it’s max speed of 3200Mhz, the other reviewer saying it’s “Not easy to setup” clearly is inexperienced and doesn’t know what he’s talking about, which is obvious when he complains about no onboard video when he tried to pair it with an F series processor, which doesn’t have an iGPU, it literally says right on the 12th gen F series CPU box “Discrete Graphics Required”.

If you are looking for an entry level motherboard that will give some upgrade room then this motherboard should be a consideration. I used this mobo as part of the build I gifted ny godson and it has served him well. It will allow him to upgrade the processor if he sees fit.
