Good monitor
Need a display-port monitor, and this one worked out very well. Although it didn’t come with a displayport cable. Was able to mont my mini pc on to the back of the monitor. Surprised with the price from a brand name monitor.

Good monitor
Despite the general consensus of not using a va monitor for gaming, that’s exactly what I’m using this mp223 for. The blacks look amazing and the contrast is excellent. I find the color reproduction to be pretty decent, although I haven’t made any prints of my photos to compare. This monitor does have low latency mode, along with freesync. I have my gpu set to sync at 100 Hz, and my PC maintains this with no problems. The pixel density at this size is a little over 100ppi, which is only just a little less than 1440 at 27″. The monitor is crisp and clear, and my aging eyes don’t notice ghosting, so I can’t say whether it’s there or not. I thoroughly appreciate the clarity and color rendition on this monitor, small text is crisp and easy to read.For this price range, I don’t think you’ll find a better value monitor if you’re gaming single player on a budget. Maybe ips has some upsides, but I feel like VA tech has come a long way and still holds its own in the sub $150 range.

INSANELY GOOD FOR THE PRICE!
Great packaging, some of the best I’ve seen. Very simple to set up out of the box.The default settings are almost perfect, I only needed to slightly increase the contrast. Looks great even without touching anything, and way too good for the price.100hz at $69.99 and good color is a steal.Only downsides are the physical aspects.Only port is one HDMI.The stand moves a little too easy on your desk, and lacks height.You can only angle the monitor up or down, not side to side.The buttons on the are unusual to navigate with.Lastly, but most important, the bevels between the screen and the plastic is glossy, which causes light to shine off and can be distracting.Well worth the price, I doubt you will find better value.

Awesome picture quality at this price point. Only issue is it doesn’t have speakers build.in as advertised. There is another that is identical that has speakers and that was a big reason I got this one but is what it is. Plenty good enough for watching videos, or playing single player games. Works just fine with xbox and pc. At $70 it performs above its price. Plenty of $150 screens that give you identical picture and build quality.

I use this monitor as my second one to play videos and have extra browsers open and it does a great job. If you need a basic screen and aren’t going to game on it this one will do the trick!

I guess I got one of the bad ones.
The monitor will turn on, be recognized by name to the OS. I can even change the refresh rate and install MSI’s monitor drivers. But there are no graphics displayed, no on-screen menu when monitor menu buttons are pressed. Just a pure blank screen. Tested on both HDMI and Display Port inputs. Really disappointed. The outward quality is outstanding and the tilt stand is sturdy, the actual device is sadly dead.EDIT: Replacement works just fine for now. Keeping the 1 star for the statistics of DOA of the previous one.

Que rico monitor, excelente para mÃ, que rico que no tenga reflejos, para serles sincero es mi primer monitor, asà que pues no tengo referencia exacta de otros monitores.Ojo: la base tiene un poco de juego para ponerla, en mi caso el instructivo solo sirvió para hacer que el empaque pese más, para ponerla correctamente tienes que hacer un poco de presión hacia abajo y luego empujar hacia donde te dice el instructivo, incluso la misma caracasa del monitor te dice a dónde empujar, digo esto porque en mi caso si me costó descubrir como ponerla, recuerden que debe quedar firme y sin moverse solo.Ya hablando otro poquito más del monitor, pues ya, tiene 100 hz en pantalla, el cual yo sà los note cuando lo configure.Sin reflejos, eso es algo que dije al inicio de la reseña, perfecto, muy rico.Filtro de luz azul, funciona bien, solo que no le veo tanta necesidad si el monitor lo vas a usar para una computadora, pues Windows tiene una opción igual.El diseño está bien, elegante y negro, como me gustan.Una cosita que no me gusto del todo es que el cable que va del monitor hacia un mini regulador que tiene, es demasiado delgado, hay que tenerle cuidado.Pues para concluir, esta bien, tampoco seamos tan exigentes, obtienes lo que pagas.
