Amazing with real, branded arcade games
I’ve purchased a few mini-arcade systems in the past and they’re a lot of fun, but those generic knock off games just aren’t as good as the real name-brand games. That’s what’s most amazing about this little game system. It not only comes with 300 games, but it contains the real name-brand Data East arcade games like Bad Dudes, BurgerTime and Karate Champ. The other games are pretty good, too, and my daughter is happily playing through them. The controls are very simple to use and there are some pretty amazing options for the price (brightness control, volume control, headphone audio port, video out for television hookup, and a recharging port if you install rechargeable batteries). My daughter has been using it with four AAA batteries and I can’t believe how long they’re lasting. I’d planned to purchase rechargeable batteries, because I was certain she’d be running down the batteries constantly, but after 2 weeks of play, they’re still running strong. I really can’t say enough good things about this game system or how ridiculously inexpensive it is. I purchased it for $24 and there’s no doubt in my mind it’s worth much more. If you like classic arcade games, you’ll love this and your kids are sure to, too.

Great for older gamers
If you have 60 year old who love games but not able to learn the newer systems, this is perfect. Runs on batteries so I do not have to teach how to charge, has all his favorites like burger time! Light. My only thing is the screen is small. I wish the screen was bigger

Worked for 10 hours
This product only worked for about 10 hours of playtime between xmas and Feb 8th. Then, the screen went white upon turning it on, and the only other screen it will load is the one in photo. Definitely not worth buying, kid is also heartbroken!

It stopped working after six weeks.
My daughter bought this with her own allowance. It stopped working after six weeks. The previous one stopped working after 10 weeks. Any manufacturer knows that using cheap parts will make the product fail. She wrote this review:At first, when I saw it could be powered by Micro-USB, I thought that it could be charged, but it has to be plugged in the whole time. There is also a lot of bezel on the sides of the screen where some screen could have been. After about a month of using it, I the game list screen started almost turning off whenever pressing a button on the D-pad. And then, the device did not turn on at all. It couldn’t have been the batteries, because they were brand-new when I put them into the device and I had only used the device for about 6 and a half hours at most. So this device is good while it lasts. Overall, the product is fun, as it actually has 308 games (including the data east games), instead of 10 games repeated over and over. But a lot of the games are similar, such as there are a lot of platformers. However, the games are usually the same thing every time, and a lot of them are a bit boring, such as “Magic Egg.” I bought this in June, and put the batteries in about a week after this arrived.

This product is exactly as described
It works and is a durable, well made product. It’s very basic and old school, but has a variety of games and is easy to use. It would be perfect for younger children.

Bought it for the Data East games only.
I purchased the Data East Classics Pixel Player Portable only for the Data East titles, and I’m happy to say I was not disappointed! Especially in playing Burger time, Burgetime came out when I was a little kid but I never had a chance to play it back then. But this nice title portable gave me the opportunity to see what I missed! And it’s a pretty good game! They don’t make ’em like those anymore sadly. Unfortunately the other 294 games included on this handy little portable really aren’t worth mentioning. I tried playing some of them but, there’s just not much there. But if you enjoyed the 6 Data East titles back in the good ‘ol 80’s, then you’ll be pleased with this little gem.
