Good Phone, Good Price
I replaced an older Vtech phone with this one and am sure glad I did. It’s as advertised. Nice modern design and the handset has some heft to it, which I like; makes it feel like a higher quality made phone than others I’ve used. I recommend it and would buy again, or another if the need arises.

Works Well Except for Failure of Bluetooth to Connect to Headphones
This cordless phone is impressive for its price. It has good sound quality, the usual features, plus it’s supposed to hook up via Bluetooth to headsets. That was a key reason I chose it. Unfortunately, I can get it to the point of indicating it’s searching for my headset, but it never connects. That same headset connects easily with my cell phone, but not for this phone.I contacted VTech support who basically told me to follow the directions and if that doesn’t work, return it.The only other weaknesses are the buttons which require a hard push with no clear sense of when that is working.On the positive side, the choice for ring tone is better than usual–I actually like the short bit of music and the tone is pleasant, the voicemail works well (though i use my online version), and it feels OK in my hand. Overall, I still like using this phone primarily because of the call quality, but without the Bluetooth connection, it is only partly successful.

Loud, clear, and just right for anyone who wants a simple phone
My grandpa insists on keeping his home phone even though he never uses it. It didnât help that he could barely hear it either. I figured if heâs paying a phone bill every month he might as well be able to use it so I ordered this one since it had everything he needed and was a great price.Itâs a plain old phone line so it was simple to install. Just plug the base into a wall outlet and then plug the phone cord into the base (it even comes with a cord). The phone is up and running in seconds. To make it even easier for him I added a few phone numbers and names into the phone. This was surprisingly easy and only took a few minutes. This way he wonât have to go looking for our numbers, plus our names will show when we call.His biggest issue is hearing so I set the ringer to high. Itâs loud enough that even he didnât have problems hearing it. The call volume is pretty loud and I found calls to be clear as well. He was able to hear well through the test calls I made him.The buttons are big enough that heâs not accidentally pressing more than one button at a time. Theyâre also easy to push (the other reason he needed a new phone). The phone comes with a small instruction manual so itâs easier for him to get used to the phone.So far, heâs happy with the phone. If anything changes Iâm sure he will let me know and Iâll share an update. Itâs a simple phone thatâs just perfect for someone who doesnât want/need any extras. Itâs loud, has large enough buttons, and itâs cordless. It feel like it was a great choice for him.

Handset won’t pair with base
In trying to set up the Bluetooth function, somehow the handset became unpaired to the base unit. The base unit has a button, and a blue light is suppose to come on when configuring Bluetooth or when re-pairing the handset. I was not successful in configuring Bluetooth, but somehow the handset became unpaired. At that point, the blue light in the base would not come on when pressing the button. Contacted VTech and followed their instructions on how to reset the phone, but nothing worked. They determined the phone was defective and I should return it to Amazon.While not VTech’s problem, I wanted to use the phone in my vacation home in Costa Rica and the cost of sending the phone back to Amazon is far more money than the price of the phone. For the return, Amazon is offering me only to drop off at a location or ship it back via UPS. UPS is not available to me in Costa Rica, and DHL would cost in excess of $50 to return this $20 item.

Why is Amazon listing electronic Products which are not compatible with the region where being sold.I ordered this product thinking that the Power Adapter would have UK 3 pin plug but it came with American 2 pin 110-120 V 1.5 Amp Plug. None of this is mentioned in the product page nor is the photo of the plug shown in the pictures. Disastrous Marketing by the Seller. I plugged the adapter in the socket and it immediately fried. I could not even get started. Over that I can’t find a replacement adapter with 110-120 Volts 1.5 Amps Input & 6 V 4 Amps output Waste of Time, Waste of Money.The Seller should know what he is selling to which market region. A US product with US specs is being shipped to Saudi Arabia where UK specs are the Norm. The Seller should know this before advertising the product. Absolute, Watse of Time and Money.
