Nice laptop
I purchased this laptop after the hard drive on my 5-year-old Dell started failing. I was looking for something with a solid-state drive, to speed things up, and this Nimo looks to have done the trick. Our company has 20 locations, and if this Nimo continues to work well for me, I am thinking this may just be the brand we will go to for future company needs as well. Made in the USA and seems very well built. Only have been using it for a day so far and will adjust the rating in the future if there are any issues, but for now I gladly give 5-stars. Full disclosure – I don’t use it for gaming, so I have no idea how it would be for gamers, but for office work I really like it.

So far so good!
I looked at so many different laptops before deciding on this one. I purchased it on a Black Friday special. I was a little skeptical at first because I had never heard of Nimo laptops before. I read lots of reviews, most were all positive so I took a chance. It arrived on time and the packaging was awesome, very well protected for shipping. When I took it out of the box I was very impressed. I LOVE the 17.3 inch screen which has a matte finish and no glare at all. The case is so well built and feels very sturdy. The keyboard is awesome. I tested out many other laptops in stores and so many had flimsy keyboards that you could actually see the keyboard go up and down when pressing the keys. Nimo’s keyboard is very sturdy. There is nothing flimsy about it. Best of all, the keyboard is backlit! For such an affordable laptop, usually you only see backlit keys in higher end laptops. The touch pad is 5 in in width and 4 in in height which is great! You can use the finger touch square on the upper left-hand corner of the touch pad for easy signing in or use the traditional password method. I prefer using a password because I am always getting cuts or scratches on my fingertips that I was afraid I would lock myself out of the laptop because it wouldn’t recognize my fingerprint. (LOL) This laptop has 32 GB of RAM, 1 TB SSD of storage, type C charging cord, Windows 11, and a 2- year manufacturer warranty. The only thing that surprised me was that it only comes with an Intel i-3 processor. For all that this laptop offers, I thought they would have put in a faster, updated processor. Don’t get me wrong, this laptop has a pretty quick response time. If you plan on using it for gaming, I would definitely get a laptop with a much faster processor. If you’re like me and do basic things for work or surf the web, then try this laptop out. Overall, I am more than happy with my purchase. I ordered the navy-blue case with the silver Nimo Fish logo. This looks and feels like a high -end laptop. Only time will tell the durability of this laptop. I am giving a strong 4 stars so far, would have given it 5 if it had a higher processor.

Amazing Product
This NIMO Laptop is an amazing purchase! I bought it for my 12 year old and he is enjoying it, and I am surveying it to see if it was worth the purchase. This is the best laptop I have used since I bought my last ASUS. I like it so much, I am going to buy another one, for myself.I enjoy trying products new to me. I did so when ASUS first hit the market, and I am so happy I did so again; NIMO has only been out for about 10 years, and let me tell you, they will make it! Do yourself a favor, if you’re looking for a laptop, give this brand a try, they are definitely more value, for your dollar, than any of the more familiar brands!

Perfect machine with tons of power
So far this computer is as best as could be hoped for. Nary a hiccough during set up and its hummed right along at good speed ever since. Really happy with the decision to get this one. GREAT price!

Really great student laptop
Got this for our daughter to use in school. We are 100% happy with it, but there’s some quirks to note.First, the specs on this are all over the place. The listing title says it has 4GB of RAM with a 128GB SSD and an N100 processor. The listing itself says 32GB RAM. The processor on our sample was accurate – it’s an N100. However, ours came with 16GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD. IMHO this is the perfect combination. Enough RAM to handle day to day tasks well, and enough storage to store a LOT of documents.Build quality is honestly incredible for the price. Very well made with an excellent fit and finish. The blue color looks quite lovely in person. It does tend to collect fingerprints, but for a workhorse it doesn’t bother me.Performance is adequate for a daily driver. You’re not going to do a lot of multitasking, video editing, gaming, etc. But for browsing the web, writing documents, and things like that it’s pretty great. The screen is easy to read and surprisingly well calibrated. There’s no color fringing on the letters at all, which is pretty impressive out of the box. it’s not perfect, though. The display struggles a little with the color red. A pure red color looks more orange. Part of this is the display type (IPS) and some is just the screen itself. If you need accurate color, you’ll have to look elsewhere or calibrate the heck out of this thing. The keyboard is fairly comfortable to type on. Due to cramming a limited 10 key onto the side, the main keyboard is off-center which means I end up typing a lot of the wrong letters until my hands find their bearing. But the keys feel nice to type on and apart from being offset, I have no complaints.Trackpad is “OK”. it tracks very well and feels good under your finger. Taps work well for the most part. It’s not until you “click” it that the cheapness feeling surfaces. But, the taps register well enough that actually clicking the pad doesn’t happen very often.Fingerprint scanner just works! No complaints.Battery is pretty good. Not going to win any awards given some of the laptops out there these days, but it should comfortably get you through half a day as long as you’re not constantly doing hard work. If you mean to get a full 8 hours out of it, you’ll almost certainly end up plugging it in.Honestly I think this is a pretty great laptop. If you’d have told me that this thing was $180 I’d not believe it. I have some portable monitors AND micro computers that are that expensive and this gives you a great, portable solution at an impossible price point. I can definitely recommend this one and wouldn’t hesitate to get another.
