All my devices only use USB-C. Luckily I did bring a charging block that plugs into a wall receptacle, but it got me thinking that if I picked up a multi-end charging cable, I would still be covered if I ever forgot it.What’s important to note with charging is that it’s a system, and like every system, it’s only as good as its weakest link.The charging unit is typically your charging block. This unit should always be able to deliver more power than devices can receive, otherwise, you will NOT be charging at the fastest speeds/rates. This doesn’t mean that slower chargers are obsolete because they’re not. The biggest culprits to damaging batteries is heat. And the faster you charge something, the more heat it produces, so the more wear and tear on your battery. Slow charging your battery nightly during sleep hours is actually best for minimizing wear and tear. If you’re moving at the speed of business, then you’ll want the fastest charging speeds possible as time is money…The cable is the other element that needs to be able to exceed the requirements of the device being charged. This cable by NOHON is rated to provide a max of either 65W (USB-C to USB-C) or 27W (USB-C to Lightning.) If using the USB-A input, you’re looking at less power as USB-A tops out at 2.4A vs the 3A the USB-C input provides.Ideally, you always want a charging system whereby the device being charged is always the weakest link. With a powerful enough adapter and a cable with overkill capability, this is assured. There’s nothing wrong with having extra capability. Coming up short when it comes to recharging your cellular phone or tablet isn’t the end of the world either, all it means is that it will take you longer to recharge your device; however, if you come up short for a laptop, it will NOT be capable of powering it, so in this case, it does matter.I have a small dell laptop that requires 65W and this cable does appear to be able to power it without issue. I also a cellular phone that doesn’t require more than 27W so I’m golden. The only other notable I have is that this cable can only transfer data at 480Mbs. Not the fastest out there by far, but good enough for files and pictures (It’ll take about 3-4 minutes to download a movie with a quality of 720p).Lastly, I want to point out that this cable is good for smart devices. The whole thing with QC and PD is the ability for communication within the charging system as a whole. If your device is not a smart device, you probably just want to use a regular cable so that you don’t draw and send too much power that may damage your device. Or ensure that you use the USB-A to USB-C combination where it will top out at 12W (5V@2.4A).Overall, know how much power you need before you invest in a charging system. This goes for both charging blocks and cables. Once you’ve determined how much power you need, make sure your charging “system” can support it. The 4ft (1.2m) length is good for portable power banks as it allows you to keep the power bank in a bag or pocket with enough length for you to still use your phone.

D’un côté, un port USB ou USB type C (au choix), et de l’autre, un port USB type C ou port lightning (grâce à un système d’adaptateur plutôt bien conçu). Bref, 4 cas d’usage possibles, que ça soit pour la charge ou le transfert de données.Il est compatible charge rapide, et son prix est très raisonnable.Je valide totalement !

Se ilumina un pequeño LED azul cuando lo estamos usando.Me ha encantado este cable por su versatilidad. Que sirva para cargadores con puerto USB A o USB C de entrada me parece una idea buenísima. Es perfecto para poder aprovechar esas cargadores de pared que ya tienen una antigüedad pero no disponen de puerto USB C.Que por el otro lado tenga salida USB C y Lightning es perfecto. Ahora con el mismo cable puedo cargar sin necesidad de ningún tipo de adaptador de puertos, tanto mi iPhone Xr como el iPad Pro. Así que cuando salgo por trabajo o de viaje, con un sólo cargador y este cable tango para ambos dispositivos.Si se usa el cargador adecuado, usando ambos puertos USB C podemos conseguir una potencia de carga de hasta 65W, más de sobra para cargar rápidamente cualquier dispositivo. En este caso, se ha calentando, para mi gusto quizás demasiado, cuando lo he usado para cargar un macbook pro.Me parece un cable sobresaliente.
