AWESOME PHONE!!!
This phone is perfect me as I’m constantly on the go. If you are a little clumsy at times then thos phone could be perfect for you as well. I’ve dropped it a couple times, I must admit, but you’d never know from looking at my phone. Sometimes I’ll accidentally put it in my pocket with my keys or what have you and, I swear, it has the most scratch resistant screen I’ve ever seen. It’s loud, has crisp videos with remarkable clarity. I only have to charge it once every few days as it has a nice, large battery. Works flawlessly and is pretty fast to boot. Rugged is an understatement. It has a little weight to it but one gets used to that pretty quickly. The clarity of videos is amazing. Very clear. The G1 phone is undoubtedly the BEST phone I’ve ever owned and I’ve went through a ton of cell phones. It’s very affordable and for it’s price… You get way more than you pay for. Can’t go wrong with this one!

Great Budget Rugged Phone
Phone has a long lasting battery. After all day of heavy use I am down to about 80 percent. It comes with a rapid usb-c charger. The screen large and is almost completely utilized. It comes with a screen protector already professionally placed on so you don’t have to try to do it yourself. Apps function very fast. Reception/signal are for me is very good. T-Mobile. Very easy and fast for me to clone my old phone to this one with the direct usb-c cord provided. I have also already dropped it several times and there is no damage to speak of. People also tell me they can hear me much better through the phone’s mouthpiece compared to my previous phone. I recommend this phone for the value. Good specs and to get any better the price tag will go exponentially higher.

Spare phone to use for extended battery.
Got this phone as a spare for traveling and wow it’s so heavy. Didn’t expect it to feel like a brick because of the weight but it does feel really good quality. Pleasantly surprised at how heavy duty and with the great light function, would be perfect when I go to camping or fishing. The picture quality and sound is also pretty good, the battery also last pretty long, for this price I’m pretty happy. Will have to use longer to see the battery degradation speed is since that’s always my problem when using most phones. I’m also having a hard time finding screen protector so will have to shop around for that.

Not as great as I had hoped
The phone was bulky, however that was somewhat expected being a rugged. The goreila glass was forever filthy, I could barely hear anything on. The charging cord broken the first week and the speaker went completely out after kess than 6 .on their very light use. It held up well to drops. The storage was great. The graphics great. The. Extra features were fun tough I never got to try out the. Underwater camera.. the warranty was no good for replacement but Amazon refunded purchase price. I went with a different brand, which is actually a little bulkier overall, but so far so good. I can hear well o it.

My old phone had reached the point where it takes 10seconds to take a photo and a dialling modem to get on the internet 😉 being on a strict budget I needed to find a phone that would tick all the boxes. So after a long search it came down to two and I chose this one.The OUKITEL G1 Rugged Smartphone, the design is very solid with shaped corners. It makes me think of something that the army would use in the field. Perfect for me. Set up was fairly quick, which was mainly down to me as I rarely get a new phone and so it takes a bit for my ancient brain to grasp.I am floored at the speed of the camera, the picture is taken even before my finger leaves the button, fantastic when wanting to get that ‘zooming cat’ photo. The battery life is the best I’ve ever seen. I am a light user of the phone, a few games like solitaire and some internet scrolling and it lasted me 4 days.Storage capacity is so vast I doubt I’ll ever use it all, though it does mean I can download more films to watch when waiting for appointments.Sound quality is very clear and again perfect for watching videos.The phone has a fingerprint scanner in the same area as the camera lenses and the surround is strong and hardy.If I had to mark it down on anything I would say its a heavy phone due to the case, but for me with fumbling fingers it allows me to grasp it tight without fear of sliding.The fingerprint scanner is hard to find without turning the phone over first, I would have preferred it to be in the middle of the back or even on the power button.And a last plus, there’s a lanyard hole yay, perfect for hanging round my neck when busy.

Come scritto nel titolo della recensione,  se dovessi definire questo rugged smartphone,  lo definirei indistruttibile ma al tempo stesso questo aggettivo sarebbe alquanto superficiale se non limitante. Si questo perché non solo è praticamente super protetto e resistente a qualsiasi interperia ma è alquanto potente , infatti convince non solo nel design ma anche nell’hardware e nel software, insomma un buon compromesso tra potenza e prestazione.All’interno della confezione troviamo:1- Lo smartphone con pellicola protettiva già applicata1- Alimentatore1- Cavo di ricarica/trasmissione dati type-c1- Estrattore sim1- garanzia e libretto d’istruzioneUn prodotto con prezzo di fascia media ma con prestazioni premium adatto non solo a chi cerca uno smartphone indistruttibile e ben protetto ma anche  a chi cerca un dispositivo di qualità e di sostanza , infatti convince nell’hardware, nel software e anche nel design , tanto è vero che  esteticamente è molto bello , ben protetto in tutti i lati , una beckcover in policarbonato leggermente ruvido in modo che non c’è rischio che lo smartphone possa scivolare dalle mani in caso fossero sudate o bagnate , inoltre  è ben assemblato oltre ad essere super protetto in tutti e 4 lati , infatti è resistente all’acqua ,  resistente sia a basse temperature che ad alte temperature,  resistente agli urti , resistente alla polvere e resistente alle cadute accidentali,  questa scelta ha fatto sì che lo smartphone risultasse abbastanza pesante  in mano , ma comunque è un peso accettabile  considerando che si tratta appunto di un rugged phone e tenendo in considerazione anche le dimensioni del display e della batteria oltre che il rivestimento protettivo.Per quanto riguarda il display monta un HD+ da 6,52 pollici in grado di restituire immagini vivide , buon bilanciamento cromatico ed è utilizzabile senza problemi anche sotto la luce diretta del sole. Nessun problema anche per quanto riguarda la visuale laterale ( su più fronti) , nessun riflesso , nessun effetto ” sbiadito” , i colori restano vividi e la visuale del display resta chiara e ben visibile. Inoltre ha  anche un trattamento oleofobico eccezionale , nel senso che non trattiene le impronte sul display , una caratteristica da non dare per scontata. Inoltre sono presenti anche diverse modalità di sblocco , oltre a quelle tradizionali,  vi è anche lo sblocco tramite riconoscimento facciale , che funziona una meraviglia,  in quanto la fotocamera frontale da 5 megapixel permette uno sblocco veloce e reattivo , per cui davvero molto funzionale , inoltre nel comparto fotografico vi è anche il sensore per lo sblocco tramite impronte digitali, anch’esso molto funzionale e soprattutto reattivo.Per quanto riguarda il lato reparto imaging,  monta una fotocamera principale da 48 megapixel ad alta risoluzione  , che è una garanzia sia in condizioni di buona luce , sia quando l’illuminazione diventa critica. Un aiuto lo offre anche la stabilizzazione ottica dell’immagine, preziosa negli scatti notturni. Ho effettuato diversi scatti,  e vi assicuro che la fotocamera principale cattura tanta luce , restituendo così foto naturali , dettagliate e assolutamente non plasticose , mentre la fotocamera frontale è da 5 megapixel con che assicura buoni selfie il tutto ottimizzato dall’ottimo AI integrato. I video vengono registrati ad alta risoluzione , garantendo un’ottima qualità così come la stabilizzazione, ottima anche la velocità di messa a fuoco.Ma il punto forte dello smartphone è il processore,  infatti monta il T606 Octa Core con una frequenza di 2.3GHz con GPU integrata  , che permette di rendere lo smartphone veloce e mai titubante infatti il potente processore permette un rendering grafico rapidissimo e fluidissimo , il tutto ottimizzato dai 6 GB di memoria RAM e dai 256 GB di memoria interna ( espandibile tramite SDcard fino a 1T). Inoltre la GPU integrata rende lo smartphone ottimo anche per il gaming , comportandosi egregiamente anche con titoli di spessore che richiedono un framerate alto e stabile , non si può chiedere di più.Dedico qualche riga alla memoria RAM, viene indicato 24 GB di RAM , in effetti è così, questo perché 6GB sono installati direttamente sulla soc con la possibilità di aumentare la ram installata con ulteriori 18 GB di RAM virtuale, per un totale di 24 GB di RAM, operazione che consiglio vivamente , sarà poi il processore a regolare l’utilizzo della RAM in base alle esigenze dello smartphone.Buona anche l’autonomia che con una batteria da 10600mAh permette di utilizzare per molto tempo lo smartphone anche con un uso intenso , personalmente lo ricarico una volta ogni 3 giorni , semplicemente perché lo utilizzo spesso e in modo intenso. Mentre se viene utilizzato in modo moderato l’autonomia aumenta fino a 4 giorni senza essere ricaricato.Per quanto riguarda la connettività , troviamo il real dual sim ( due sim più micro sd) , 4g plus e LTE ,    Wifi , GPS, NFC  Bluetooth , OTG e slot per microSD card fino a 1T.Infine,  per quanto riguarda il software,  è installata la versione di Android 14 con patch di sicurezza aggiornate ( e che vi chiederà di aggiornare alla prima accensione) inoltre poiché lo smartphone è  nuovo alla prima accensione vi chiederà diversi aggiornamenti da fare , infine  per quanto riguarda l’interfaccia utente,  resta intuitivo e user friendly. In conclusione penso che sia uno degli Smartphone più prestanti ed eccellenti nella fascia rugged medio-bassa  , in quanto vi è un ottimo equilibrio tra potenza e prestazione.Spero di esservi stato utile. 👋
