Great cordless phone!
This cordless phone has many features and meets my needs. I especially like the block number feature built into it. I love how the LED screen lights up when a call comes in so I can see who’s calling on the ID. It gives a beep to let you know it’s charging, once returned to the base. Setup was particularly easy, and the quality of sound is decent; could be a bit louder, but I’m good with what it has to offer overall because I rarely talk on the phone. I highly recommend this phone. I purchased it to replace a light-weight AT&T cordless phone whose battery had little longevity while talking on it. Price was super great because it’s an Amazon “slightly used” warehouse product, yet it was in like new condition when delivered. I just sanitized it really good before setup & use. Thanks, Amazon!

Perfect for home
Very good phone. Good quality, varied configuration options and I really like the button to locate the headset.

GOOD SOUND AND RANGE
Just like previous model only better sound quality. Not sure how to set ‘announce’ feature. Battery doesn’t hold charge QUITE as long as older model did originally. (old phone battery lasted 11 years, could talk 2-3 days, year 11 wouldn’t hold charge long, battery about the same price as new model). Otherwise the same.

What happened to voicemail?
Several things to not like. I am many years user of the older model. It had two critical things that this new one does not. Most important: no voice mail light or any indication that thereâs a call. Thereâs no button for voice mail. To get to it you have to press menu then go down to find voicemail and then select it.The second thing is thereâs no place to attach a belt or pocket clip. And third, the back is curved so you canât put it on its side. Small point the older phone came with pocket clips and that allowed you to put the phone down at an angle. The most critical thing is the phone mail problems. We get many calls that go to phone mail and it’s unforgivable not to have an indicator. It does show up in display though. I should say that this phone is crystal clear with good volume. It has a volume boost but you canât just turn it on. It somehow dynamically knows from background noise to turn it on. The other model letâs you push the boost button. Go figure that out.One more critical problem: battery life. Ad says five days. None of my six phones in this series lasts more than 2-3 days.Adding this comment in general: please please please get your company straight. The catalog for wireless phones is full of models (base units and phones) each with it’s own specialty set of features poorly explained. It is often unclear which phones can go with which bases and which have belt clips. Belt clips? Is it really too much to ask that ALL wireless phones at least have the tiny indents to allow for belt clips? Why don’t ALL models have that? I have spent many hours (and I do mean many) searching through Amazon and Panasonic to decide which to buy and which goes together – it makes one dizzy after a few hours. Pana – get your act under control.

FALSE ADVERTISING â¼ï¸
I purchased this phone STRICTLY for the talking call ID Capability. It described it in line two on the Amazon App has having bilingual talking caller ID. Upon the phone being delivered I a handyman come to move a cabinet to get to the two cords to connect to the wallâ¦. His cost $87 for the basic hour! Long story short, no matter what I did the talking caller ID would not work. Iâm a physician with a fractured leg so I needed help moving the cabinet. I read the pamphlet from cover to cover. I could not get the caller ID to talk to me! I sent an email to Panasonic they called me the next morning and said the model number I gave them is NOT a talking caller ID PHONE! They told me if I purchased it directly from Panasonic they would give me some kind of compensation monetarily. I cannot change the phone because I refuse to pay another $87 to have a handyman come back. I explained it to every department in Amazon. I spoke with supervisors leader ship team to absolutely no success. I read reviews and I realize that many reviews said the same thing. Donât waste your time. This is not a talking, caller ID, equipped wireless phone, itâs clearly false advertising. My complaint to Amazon fell on completely deaf ears they could care less. They were willing to refund the phone but I have to disconnect it at the charge of $87 for Handyman and then theyâll give me a refund. Tomorrow I am calling corporate to file a complaint because it is not as if I decided I didnât like it itâs because it doesnât have what itâs advertised to have. It even says on the outside of the box talking caller ID . So buyer beware this is just 100% wrong. They will not give me any kind of a Amazon credit a promotion nothing I was willing to take $10 but they said thatâs not gonna happen. They have no way of doing that. Tomorrow, as I said, Iâm calling corporate to file a complaint , I guess Jeff Bezos can afford a $30,000 diamond ring because he sells products that donât advertise properly. I am really really upset.

Easy to use, battery life ok.
The phones are easy to set up and use. I have used the new set for a few months. They work like my old set (same brand and type) that worked for over 6 years without problems. After 5 years batteries would not charge in the based and one of the 5 phones in the set lost the metal connector bar in the base so it could not charge at all. I charged the batteries in a separate recharger that I own for another year or so, until I decided to buy a new set. So I would recommend this set. It has so many other features than I ever tried to use! The main base tells you what number or who is calling (if you have entered the number in your contacts) but I wish it would let you hear the incoming message ad it is recorded. Who knows, maybe thatâs a feature I never figured out!
