Crazy for good stories –
Surprised that itâs a good phone
It was really difficult to find a landline phone with good reviews because they all appear to have issues, but this Panasonic model works well for me. I have not added on addition phones to mine.PROS: You can adjust the ringer volume. Sound quality is very clear for myself and the person on the other end of the phone. I have had a 45 minute long phone conversation with no issues. The power phone cord is about 40 inches long. Buttons are easy to use on the handset and the view screen on the phone is easy to read.CONS: It comes with a manual but the directions were a little hard to understand. There is a âquick guideâ on the inside flap on the box for my phone and that was very helpful. It does not light up when not in use. The phone announces out loud who is calling you which i donât like. I don’t know if i can change that. There are a lot of other features on this phone but i have not used them.The phone needs to be charged for 7 hours before you can use it. I set up mine so it could charge overnight. Overall I am very happy with this model.

I bought these for my Girl Friend whose house is large and with many walls
I replaced my GFâs old phone system with these. Her old system was spotty and not very reliable. I found a review in Wirecutter and bought these. They work flawlessly despite the rambling architecture of her home with many odd walls between rooms. The sound quality is good and, as usual, Panasonic quality is unmatched. I highly recommend these.

Call announcement is mostly unintelligible
Phone is easy to set up and call blocking is simple. I get WAY fewer junk calls since i got this phone!! Itâs wonderful! But do NOT expect to depend on the automated voice announcement because it is almost always unintelligible. With all the technological advancement in speech to text I donât know why they couldnât get software that works. I donât get many calls on my landline so I donât care that much.

I bought this phone system for the blocking capacity.
This phone system works well, you can block up to 1000 Robo calls.The only thing that I would recommend it to make the instructions bigger for those who don’t see as well.I recommend this for others

Got it right this time!
I live in an apartment where we have a land line that offers intra-building short phone numbers as well as cell service. This Panasonic cordless phone/answering machine combo is great. It rings for outside and interior calls. The ring tone is a classical song so thereâs no mistaking my phone calls with those on the television shows.Takes patience to install & program. The instruction books was very helpful. The price of this combo was very reasonable & shipping was prompt. I recommend this brand & model (#830).

Too complicated for us.
We used a similar Panasonic phone set for more than 10 years, and the phones were easy to use, uncomplicated and worked well. However, it was time to replace them. We purchased this phone set expecting the same good quality and ease of use like the earlier purchase. The new phones came with an instruction book that when opened made us laugh. Talk about a mountain of new features. We were overwhelmed and confused often. We didn’t realize the complexity of today’s communication environment. To use each feature one must enter a code for it to work. We like the Block Call feature, but we really don’t expect to need or want the majority of the other features. We found that each phone in the new set has a problem with the speaker volume. When you answer a call the speaker’s voice is barely audible even with the volume set to maximum. When we receive a call now we always have to use the speaker phone setting to hear the person. Even then, we experience some audio distortion that makes it difficult to clearly hear the speaker. The keys are large and light in the dark which is most helpful. If a lot of features are important to you, and your hearing is really good then this is the phone for you.

Great cordless phones and answering machine!
It was time to replace my cordless phones after more than 12 years of service. After looking through the options, this cordless phone model with an answering machine base and two extra satellite phones looked perfect! I wanted to stay with Panasonic after so many years of good service with my previous cordless phones. It was easy to set up although I did enlist my son’s help because this is not my area of expertise. I love the features including a speaker phone and a call block option! It was easy to change the time when we moved the clocks back a week ago. I am really enjoying my new Panasonic cordless phone set!

The person who prepared this has no idea that the item is not intended for Australian customers due to the fact that the voltage is 120 volts and not 220 volts. Be mindful of it next time
