Great monitor for a fair price
I appreciate the color reproduction of this monitor paired with a suitable refresh rate for a reasonable price as itâs often on sale. The only complaint I would have is the slightly intrusive screen refresh prompt but it can be easily ignored.

The best value of the 34â 21:9 OLED Panels
This monitor shares the same Samsung panel of the OLED G8, Alienware 34, MSi MEG34, but has additional I/O, including the USB-C/DP-Alt option with 90W of power delivery for productivity users. It has plenty of I/O, KVM switch, and itâs almost as elegant as the aluminum Samsung G8.If you juggle computers for work and play, want a gaming monitor that is elegant and not gharish like the Alienware and MSi, but has more functionality than the mini I/O setup of the otherwise great Samsung G8 OLED, this is a great panel for you.It has the best price ($100-$500 less than its competition), a warranty of 4 years, and still a blast to game on and pleasant to work on.My only nitpicks are :1. Blue flecks in the oversized stand making the product look a bit cheaper. This is due to Philips joining the ranks of companies that put recycled scraps of plastic in things as if itâs desirable.2. Samsung has showed us we can have Ultrawide without wide monitor stands. It wouldâve been nice if Philips took a page out of the MSi, Samsung playbook and followed suit. Nearly a foot deep is far too large of a footprint for any monitor stand.3. It also seems to be ever so slightly crooked, but that may be the way it sits on my desk (the legs are so long that it rests on my desk mat). Or it could be because rather than a traditional VESA mounting plate on the stand, it has a quick release tab that means thereâs some play in it. I have since replaced it with an AVLT monitor arm combined with the included VESA adapter.4. No burn in warranty (Alienware offers it, but just donât leave your monitor on without a screensaver, lower the brightness on desktop use, and follow the pixel care prompts)5. If youâre a console gamer, youâll be limited to 100 hz. 175 hz, FreeSync Pro is only supported over DP, USB-C.To recap, of the 21:9 1440p QD OLEDs, this will provide you the same or more I/O features of all its brethren, and at a lower price. $776-$799 tends to be the window for this unit, and for that youâre getting:1. 1440p Ultrawide format2. DP, HDMI, USB-C/DP-Alt w/ 90W PD3. Several USB-A ports, USB-B port4. 175hz refresh paired with a 0.1ms response time.5. G-SYNC, FreeSync compatible6. Nearly perfect motion clarity, vibrant colors, deep blacksAt a lower price than all its competitors and more features than the Alienware DW, DWF (the darlings of this segment thanks to content creators like LTT). As far as Iâm concerned, that makes this the best of the lot.

Exceptional color accuracy + KVM support. VESA mount is a little ify.
This monitor loses 1 star because of its “afterthought” of a VESA mount. While it does work and technically gets the job done, it appears the monitor was meant to be on the original stand it comes with instead mounting options. If your job/hobby consists of coding, blogs, or writing anything with text, be aware of the lower quality detail in the text. It’s slightly blurry because it’s 1440p, but it doesn’t matter much if you’re using this monitor for gaming because it’ll hardly be noticeable. There is a pixel refresh option/notification that’ll pop up every once and a while but it’s not necessarily that important. I would assume that frequent panel refreshes = prolonged usage of the monitor, but it hasn’t been an issue for me. I currently have 600 hours of usage (it’s listed in the settings) and I’ve had zero problems thus far. This is a phenomenal entry 1440p OLED monitor with excellent response times + color accuracy.I especially enjoy the KVM features. Being able to see my MacBook while also being able to see my PC has been a game changer. Unfortunately, your peripherals will need to be able to work with both Mac and Windows PC. You can plug your USB peripherals into the monitor, which allows you to use it for other devices, but it’s very inconsistent (at least in my use case). My MacBook has a hard time waking up with the peripherals connected to the monitor. However, since my keyboard is Bluetooth/usb/2.4, I’m able to wake up my MacBook (connected through USB-C). Unfortunately, switching between Mac and Windows seamlessly is virtually impossible, that’s without any other programs (synergy). If you’re mainly looking for KVM, then this is the monitor for you, but I hope your mouse/keyboard is capable of 2.4GHz/Bluetooth/USB-C/ or all of the above if you swap between devices constantly.Regardless, this monitor is a cut above the rest, especially for the price, but it’s like a whole new world for content consumption + gaming (you get an option of adding a reticle, but it’s not useful imo. It could be if you play games such as CSGO).

Beautiful but…
Pixel refresh is extremely aggressive and I found in my personal experience not always reliable.Imagine having a friend who calls you to come over to talk. These talks usually help you and improve your life but your friend is annoyingly persistent and calls you every 4 hours. That’s the pixel refresh. Even when you’re gaming or watching a movie you get the prompt shattering immersion. Now that could be fixed pretty easy with a few modifications to the pixel refresh system but it seems an afterthought to Phillips.I will say that the curve and the back lights to help with eye strain significantly. It was almost like I could feel my eyes relaxing when looking at the monitor which is a strange and beautiful feeling. One caveat I had is with the back light’s light sync. The implementation is so poor that instead of increasing your immersion, you find yourself wondering why the colors aren’t matching those on the screen.Tldr: Beautiful Technology that needs a few QoL upgrades to truly be a premium product.

Picked this up on a Black Friday sale. I was worried that a 34 inch ultra wide would be too big, but it’s perfect. And the picture qualtiy is so sharp and crisp its like warm butter for the eyes.I’ve tried out a bunch of different games such as WarThunder, Cyberpunk 2077, Icarus, and HellDivers 2. Didn’t see any ghosting and everything looked awesome, both with HDR enabled and disabled. There are a couple things that I have to mention i’m a bit critical on. The first is the pixel refresh which is pretty annoying at times. You’ll be in the middle of a game or watching a movie and it pops up. The most annoying time is when I shut off my computer and it pops up and won’t let me turn off the monitor. It takes about a minute for it to finally turn off.The second is the off button. It can’t make up its mind if you just push the center in or push the center and and push down. Or push and hold for a few seconds.Other then that which is annoying but minor, it’s been a great monitor. And if you see it on sale don’t hesitate grab it.

El bendito burn in.

This is my first HDR OLED, very happy.Picture quality is amazing, dark darks and bright brights. Feels sturdy and a great entry level to get into OLED.The ambiglow does not work with HDR, and it’s a bit gimmicky anyway I just turned mine off.
