I returned this but I still liked it
Even though I have already returned this, I do think it is a good quality product. it’s very stiff. My phone never fell. But I’m looking for something that I could easily push to my left or right. I had it clamped onto my headboard right in the middle. So this does not move around or do a 360. My headboard is a little odd shaped at the top, and I was very worried I would damage my headboard. I don’t recall any soft padding on the inside part of the clamp. I could be wrong but I don’t remember seeing anything soft that would protect my headboard from being damaged by the clamp. That was the deal breaker for me and I returned it. But it still is a good quality product if you don’t have a wooden carved headboard.

Very sturdy – VERY difficult to bend
If you’re looking for something incredibly sturdy, this is it!! Your phone will not weigh this thing down, and wherever you put it, it’s gonna stay.However, that is a good and bad thing, as it makes bending it pretty difficult. So if you plan on moving it around a ton, this may not be for you (unless you want some free exercise!)

Very strong, especially when coiled up
Love this thing, I have several and people see them and ask where to buy their own. Very strong. Good for watching a small screen but not great for recording due to slight wobble after being touched.

Could be stronger
There were a ton of these to choose from but I suspect they are all alike. The concept is great but two things could be improved upon. The phone holder itself is fair, but if it had a button that opens the grip rather than having to hold it open while you fit the phone in that would be great. Secondly it could be just a little stronger. The gooseneck droops a little so if you need it to be fully extended and more at a 75 degree angle as we need it doesn’t want to stay put so eventually you have to readjust. All in all it serves it’s purpose ok.
