A New Kind of Phone Stand
As this is my 4th phone stand, I researched options and stumbled onto this product and compared and researched with other similar competitors. Based on the number of reviews and the price tag, I decided to take a chance with this one and tested it out for a couple of days when I received it in the mail.PROS:Magnet – As a new user of magsafe cases, I find the magnetic strength on this stand to be satisfactory. It’s not difficult to install and remove when needed. And if you don’t have a magsafe case, the stand also comes with a metal ring to insert on your phone case. Just make sure to read the seller’s product info to ensure what is compatible.Multi-use – Probably one of the biggest appeals to me was how versatile this stand is. Not only is it just a stand, it can also be used for video/photography projects and for phone holding comfort while typing/texting. And I definitely use it for all 3 functions. I like having it as a stand when I work. It’s a good substitute as a phone holder. And it functions both as a standing and handheld tripod when I record unboxing merch or photograph landscapes for fun.Compact – I can attach this to the phone and literally take it with me anywhere without it screaming ‘I’m a tripod’. I’m not much of a fan of holding/carrying tripods in public so the convenient design makes it feel less conspicuous.CONS:Durability – While I don’t doubt the strength of its magnet or the folding hinge, I wonder about them later on given how I find myself using this on a daily basis. But if I feel I’m careful enough, this stand will probably last me a good while. I’ll probably add to this later on after some time.Delicacy – Alongside durability, I feel like its faux leather design and light weight makes it a little delicate. But that’s the price you pay for making it multi-functional AND portable/compact.Height – This shouldn’t really be a con if you know this tripod is at a set height for recording. If you’re a more casual/hobby creator, then I would recommend this product. But if you want height variety for video/photo purposes on a professional level, then this stand is not it for you.That said about cons, I’d say these are big cons if you are probably being too non-gentle when handling the stand. If you’re looking for something more heavy-duty, then this stand is not for you. It is also for these cons that I rated this 4 out of 5 stars.Overall, if you’re looking for portability and multi-functionality, then this stand is for you. I’ve had this stand for a few days now and I can say pretty satisfied with this purchase.

Seems extremely flimsy
Maybe mine was defective, but it basically came apart as soon as I folded it. There is a support in the middle of the fold that essentially ripped right off of one of the sides as soon as I folded it after unfolding it. I returned it and marked as defective, but I’m not sure if it’s that or if it’s just really poor design. Either way, not taking my chances again on another one.

So far, works great! The magnet wonât latch through my silicon case, but I just stuck the included magnet to my case and it works perfectly fine. Would recommend to anyone wanting to give it a try

Good but heavy.
This tripod worked really well on my vacation. Simple and slim design folds out and back in easily. Good, strong magnet works directly on my phone as well as with a magnetic or magsafe case. I used this on an iphone 13 pro max with a magsafe case and a Bluetooth camera remote. I’m happy with the photos I got while using it. It holds well both vertically and horizontally. The hinge helps adjust the angle of the phone for taking photos or for watching videos. Allows for using back and front facing cameras. This tripod does add a bit of heft to your phone so I took off one star.

Pretty Sturdy While Being Compact
Strong magnet, surprisingly sturdy for being as small as it is. Bear in mind that a strong knock, or wind, will probably take this down so do not read into this as being a rock solid phone stand. This is pure utility under perfect circumstances. That said, this is a great travel companion, and folds slim enough to maybe even stay on the phone for short periods.
