Excellent design and performance, but had some minor flaws that detracted!
This is a really beautiful mouse pad. The top has a silky feel, some kind of synthetic material (not identified on the web page) and a deep, rich, saturated green color. The edge is sewn to prevent fraying and the underside is soft, pliable rubber with great adhesion to the desk, with no possibility of slipping. I could fall in love with this pad based on flexibility, curl-resistance, rich saturated color, silky feel, etc. BUT that beautiful green surface is marred by a white flaw in the dye job about 1/4″ long and 1/32″ to 1/16″ wide. Aside from that white spot, obviously a flaw that should have been picked up in final inspection on the manufacturing line, the pad looks quite elegant. In addition, where the linear edge stitching comes together along one side there is a slight overlap, just a stitch or two, maybe intended to insure integrity, but it makes a slight lump at that point. Very slight, but on such a nice pad you would not expect that. There is another white spot adjacent to that overlap lump, but much smaller than the one I first mentioned, maybe 1/8″ long. I took off one star for the two flaws that I would expect to be weeded out at the factory. Aside from those complaints, this pad has a very nice feel to it and functions extremely well with no slipping and perfect mouse operation. If they took better care inspecting the final work and made this the way I expected, I would have proposed a 6th star because the physical performance of it is stellar. And then I thought, “Why am I complaining, where can you find such a well performing mouse pad for only $6.99?” But, honestly, why take such great care in material selection and performance and then allow manufacturing flaws to be passed on to the customer? It does not make sense — but I absolutely LOVE how well it feels and performs!!

It Works
This mousepad is just your basic pad, but I got it because it matches the pink keyboard on my daughter’s computer. The fabric is nice and silky, and the mouse glides over it effortlessly. The bottom of the pad underneath is made of a grippy material that keeps it from sliding around while in use.

This is a great mouse pad. It is simple and easy to clean if spills get on it, my son is 8 so I like that feature even though we try to keep liquids away from his computer desk.
