    Wonderful product.
Got this bad boy on sale for a great price. The colors on it are not half bad but look pretty good when tweaked. It’s sturdy and has a great and simple software that’s easy to navigate. It’s not too heavy so it fits on my monitor arm great without tension and the refresh rate is incredible. 10/10 highly recommend.

This is a Fantastic Budget Monitor
This is a beautiful, Crisp, monitor, I’ve had it for a bit and I gotta say Pixio, you outdid yourself with this one. Really hope a 240hz comes soon because that’ll be my next upgrade.
The monitor produces crisp and clean images at a fast refresh rate, no noticeable ghosting or any color inaccuracy’s as far as the human eye can tell. This thing is probably better than your $4000 TV! I am extremely pleased for the value you get out of this monitor. The build quality is great. Just one thing with the Mounting, yes, it’s VESA mountable so if you have a Monitor arm you want it on it’ll probably go on there just fine, however what’s kind of annoying is you’ll probably need the right screws but once you purchase it you’ll figure it out.
    Awesome monitor, 10/10!

Great 1440p 180HZ Gaming Monitor for the Price!
For the price, this is excellent! Build construction is superb and I was pleasantly surprised by the stand. It has tilt, rotation and height adjustment! The settings menu for this monitor was also amazing, being able to dial in my settings just how I want too. It also has built-in crosshairs if you want to enable it in the settings. In the box is everything you’ll need to get it going, the stand, a display port cable, vesa mount screws (if you want to attach it to a monitor arm),and the power cord. This is my second PIXIO monitor and I can definitely recommend this or any other PIXIO monitor!

Solid 1440p monitor for the price.
I have been pretty happy with this monitor. The sharper image and fluid refresh rate have been nice. The only thing I dislike is that the built in speakers have a low max volume so I have mostly just been using head phones.

Fast and Smooth Gaming with Impressive Visuals – Pixio PX279 Prime Neo Review
I’ve been using the Pixio PX279 Prime Neo for a while now, and it’s quickly become my go-to monitor for both gaming and everyday use. With its 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time, it was exactly what I was looking for in terms of speed and responsiveness, but there are a few other features that make this monitor stand out for me.
    Design & Build Quality:
Right out of the box, the monitor feels solid. The build is sturdy, and while it comes with a pretty good stand, I mounted it on an arm for better desk space, which was easy to do since it’s VESA compatible. The overall design is minimalist and sleek, so it fits well into my setup without looking too “gamer-centric.” Even though it’s a 27-inch monitor, it doesn’t feel bulky, and I love that it doesn’t reflect light much, so no annoying glares when I’m gaming during the day.
    Image Quality:
For a Full HD (1080p) monitor, the picture quality is really good. I was initially a bit concerned about moving away from a higher resolution display, but the fast IPS panel on this Pixio really surprised me. Colors are vibrant and accurate, and the viewing angles are wide enough that there’s no color shift when I’m looking at it from the side or moving around. One thing I’ve noticed is that there’s no blooming or light bleed, which is something I’ve had issues with on other monitors in this price range. That’s been a huge plus for me, especially when playing darker games or watching movies.
    Performance for Gaming:
This is where the PX279 shines. The 240Hz refresh rate makes everything feel buttery smooth, especially when playing fast-paced shooters like *Call of Duty* or *Apex Legends*. Paired with the 1ms response time, there’s virtually no ghosting or input lag, which really adds to the experience, especially when reaction time is key. I’ve also used the Adaptive Sync feature with my GPU, and it keeps everything running without any screen tearing. If you’re into competitive gaming, this monitor’s speed is exactly what you need to stay sharp.
    Everyday Use:
While it’s a gaming monitor at heart, I’ve also found it great for everyday tasks. Text looks sharp, and it handles multitasking well when I’m not gaming. Even with long work sessions, I didn’t find myself straining to look at the screen, thanks to its non-reflective surface and vibrant colors.
    Comparing to Similar Monitors:
Compared to other monitors I’ve used around the same price point, like the ASUS TUF VG279 or the AOC 27G2, I’d say the Pixio PX279 holds up really well. It might not have some of the extra features like built-in speakers or USB ports, but if you’re after pure performance with great visuals, this one checks all the boxes. Plus, those other monitors don’t quite offer the same combination of fast refresh rates and solid build quality that the Pixio does.
    A Few Negatives.
One minor thing is that the monitor’s OSD (on-screen display) isn’t the most intuitive to navigate. It took me a bit longer than I’d like to figure out the settings, but once you’ve got everything set up, it’s not something you need to deal with regularly. Also, while the 1080p resolution is perfect for gaming at 240Hz, it might not be the best choice if you’re doing a lot of video editing or need ultra-sharp detail for creative work. That said, for gaming, the lower resolution helps maintain those high refresh rates without putting too much strain on your GPU.
    Final Thoughts:
All in all, the Pixio PX279 Prime Neo is a fantastic monitor for gamers who prioritize speed and smoothness. The fast refresh rate and quick response time make a noticeable difference, especially in competitive gaming. The color quality and build are also impressive for the price point. If you’re in the market for a 240Hz monitor and are okay with sticking to 1080p, this one’s definitely worth considering. It’s reliable, well-built, and has just the right features to make your gaming experience more enjoyable.
    Pros:
    – 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time
    – Vibrant colors with wide viewing angles
    – No screen tearing with Adaptive Sync
    – Sturdy, durable build
    – Non-reflective screen with no light bleed
    Cons:
    – OSD interface could be more user-friendly
    – 1080p resolution might not be ideal for tasks beyond gaming
If speed and smooth gameplay are your top priorities, this monitor won’t disappoint.

    Ok Monitor, Frustrating Initial Experience
The monitor quality is okay. The construction quality seems average for a low-cost monitor, and the display seems on par with similar monitors. So it’s OK—not great, not bad, just okay.
I had a frustrating first experience with the monitor hooking it up to an HDMI computer first. No matter what I did, I could not get the menu to engage in switching the display to HDMI despite numerous attempts. Ultimately, I had to hook up my laptop with Display Port the first time to get the menu to active, then I could switch it to HDMI for the other computer. Monitor menus should be able to be activated even with no video input. There is a setting to disable automatic video connection that I had hoped would resolve the issue, but it didn’t.
That said, the joystick menu navigation (once you are able to use it) made navigating the numerous menus easy and intuitive. The available features seem pretty good, and again, standard or average, there is nothing to write home about. The only “feature” this monitor really has is the high refresh rate, which for me personally just isn’t that big of a deal. I’m typically not playing something where I’m going to notice the difference, but your mileage may vary.
The monitor definitely has a very limited use-case and target audience, I think this monitor is only going to really appeal to people who want a single 1080 monitor with a high refresh rate and have it solely dedicated to gaming. In my opinion it does not work well as an all-around monitor. It is too low resolution for coding (type is overly pixelated), and if you’re getting it for watching movies, there are way better options at the price point.
