Where has this been hiding?
Absolutely the best addition to my iMac. The accessory mounts easily and fast access to the much needed extra ports. I wish I had purchased it a long time ago.
Terry Kringle –

Not enough USB-C portS
I like the unit it looks sharp. But it takes one USB-C port to plug it in and then you only get the one USB-C port on the front.

I have been doing the tour of USB hubs. The 6&1by Plugable finally won. The threading wires was a bit of a challenge.but I was soon plug in my drives where the only the super drive still has not come alive. The front entry for iMac 24 is seemed to a no brainer.

Great little hub that has a very similar finish of the silver iMac. It’s designed in such a way that it hooks to the iMac support opening and it clips there tight and neatly. Some might argue it interferes with the design but from a practical point-of-view it’s very good to have an easy access to a multitude of ports and card readers. The only thing I really think it’s unnecessary is that “Plugable” logo printed on top of the hub. Get rid of that and make it the cleanest possible look.

Love the concept and usability of the device. Was a little put off by how loose it fits into the hole. Every time you you plug or unplug a device the entire things wants to come out…granted I didn’t expect it to be rock solid, however, I also didn’t really expect it to be as loose as it is. Going to see if some 3M on the back of it will help keep it in place a little better on the stand. Other than that, all connections work as expected and it’s super handy and looks good…doesn’t look like it’s out of place.
